December 24, 2004 Fire was reported by the police dept. at 0059 hrs on Friday 12/24/04, 4
alarms were struck. The fire started in a 2 story building which was fully
involved on arrival and extended to a 1 story restaurant. Both building were
located at the end of 250' long pier. The fire was contained to the rear of
the restaurant and pier. M/A from Thomaston and South Thomaston to the
scene, many other towns provided several station coverage's.
