1045)20:00 PM-MVA-Berwick, ME-Rochester St. A pickup ran off the road into a tree, jaws used to extricate trapped person. Reconstruction responded to the scene.


Friday, SEPTEMBER 29, 2006

1044)23:48 PM-MVA-Peterborough, NH-Near River Mead Dr. Car struck a tree with entrapment, jaws used. Dhart Helo responded to transport a seriously injured victim.

1043)19:20 PM-W/F-Portland, ME-125 North St. A ceiling fire in the basement of a 3-story apartment building.

1042)15:30 PM-MVA-Scarborough, ME-I-95 (Maine Turnpike) by mile 39 to mile 41. Over 30 vehicles involved during a heavy storm, several persons were injured and 5 towns responded with rescues. None of the injuries were reported to be life-threatening.

1041)15:00 PM-TORNADO-North Berwick, ME-An intense storm which went through the town has been determined to have been a level F1 Tornado. It uprooted many trees and several houses were damaged, power lines were down all over the town. An evacuation shelter was set up at the elementary school. M/A from several towns responded. There were no reported injuries.

1040)20:27 PM-W/F-Madison, NH-1374 Village Rd at the Silver Mine Store. A building fire, 2nd floor well involved on arrival. M/A responded to the fire.

1039)07:30 PM-EXPLOSION W/FIRE-Newport, ME-221 Kitchen Hill Rd. A lakeside camp was destroyed by a gs explosion, a 73 y/o male occupant was injured and taken by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor.

1038)22:00 PM-3RD ALARM-Warren, NH-Route 25C at Whitcher Sawmill. First units on scene reporting heavy fire in a sawmill building, the structure was destroyed. M/A responded from several towns.

1037)19:30 PM-W/F-Greenland, NH-280 Bayside Rd. Heavy fire gutted a 2-story 2-family residence. Several towns responded to assist the Greenland FD.
