1041)08:35 AM-ACW-Merrimack, NH-6 Dumpling Way. A partition fire in the basement of a single family dwelling.

1040)07:50 AM-MVA-Crawford, ME-Route 9. A tractor trailer struck a utility truck head-on with entrapment, jaws used. Lifeflight responded and transported the driver of the smaller truck to EMMC in critical condition. The driver of the T/T had minor injuries.

1039)11:45 PM-W/F+-Chester, ME-Route 116 @ Chester Wood Products. Large fire at a lumber yard included the mill building office and maintanance area, a tanker truck, and exploding oil tanks. Several departments responded M/A.

1038)6:45 PM-W/F-South Berwick, ME-2 Railroad Ave @ Cummings Mills Apartments. A fire in a 3rd floor unit, started by a grease fire on the stove. Sprinklers knocked down the fire, but caused water damage on lower floors. Assistance responded from Dover, Rollinsford, Berwick, and North Berwick.

1037)5:30 PM-2nd.AL-Portland, ME-910 Riverside St @ L.R. Higgins Recycling Plant. Heavy fire in recycling piles, smoke could be seen for many miles.

1036)3:00 PM-MVA-Moultonbouro, NH-Route 9 near the Moultonboro Emporium. A Harley Davidson motorcycle struck the rear of a dump truck, Dhart helo responded to a nearby airport to transport the operator with serious head injuries to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

1035)09:00 AM-MVA-Madbury, NH-Route 9 near the Barrington line. A car struck a dump truck head-on, 1 10-45 code 1 on scene, the driver of the car. State Police responded for reconstruction.

1034)4:54 PM-LOGGING ACCIDENT-Goshen, NH-Route 10 south of the village. A man cutting logs was trapped when the large log pile shifted and pinned leg, it took 25 mins to free him. He was tranpsorted by Newport ambulance with a serious leg injury. Newport Rescue responded with air bags.

1033)4:45 PM-MVA-Weare, NH-Route 114. A car crossed the center line and struck a pickup head-on, then burst into flames. A passerby saved a toddler from the rear seat of the car, but the driver, (the father), was killed. The male child and driver of the truck were tranported with minor injuries.

1032)PM-MVA-Sanford, ME-Route 4. Car struck a 34 y/o male and left the scene, the man died a short time later. The car was located and a female was charged with OUI and leaving the scene of the accident.

1031)PM-DIRT BIKE ACCIDENT-Alton, ME-Route 16 in a gravel pit. 2 men riding dirt bikes crashed head-on, both were transported to EMMC in Bangor. One of the victims died at the hospital, the accident is under investigation.

1030)6:25 PM-MVA-Sidney, ME-Near 3708 West River Rd. A car lost control on a curve and rolled over several times into a field, jaws used for extrication of 1 10-45 code 2. Lifeflight transported to CMMC in Lewiston.

1029)10:52 AM-2nd.AL-South Berwick, ME-151 Old Fields Rd. A 14X70 mobile home with an addition well involved, M/A responded from Eliot, Berwick, and Rollinsford,NH.

1028)01:30 AM-W/F-North Conway, NH-Kearsarge Rd. Fire in a single unit in an apartment building, 1 male 10-45 code 1 was pronounced dead after being transported.

1027)03:35 AM-W/F-Biddeford, ME-Gooch St off Route 1. Fire in a dumpster and building (separate fires) at Precision Screw, 30X100 brick commercial building. Fire in the building was knocked down quickly, M/A engine responded from Saco.

1026)5:00 PM-W/F-Kennebunk, ME-46 Woodside Dr. A house well involved on arrival, crews removed for exterior attack. M/A from Kennebunkport & Wells.

1025)06:15 AM-W/F+-Waterville, ME-8 Maple St. Heavy fire showing from the rear of a 2-story apartment building an arrival, extended throuout the structure. 4 civilian and 2 firefighters sufferred from minor injuries. M/A responded from Winslow, Fairfield, Vassalboro and Clinton to the fire, Oakland & Sidney for coverage.

1024)02:30 AM-3rd.AL-Westbrook, ME-920 Main St @ Profenno's Restaurant. Heavy fire conditions throughout a 3-story wood frame building, with apartments over the restaurant. M/A responded from several towns to the fire.

1023)12:15 AM-ATV ACCIDENT-Washington, ME-Mountain Rd. 24 Y/O male operator crashed an ATV, speed & inexperience possible factors, 1 10-45 code 1 pronounced dead after transport to the hospital.

1018)11:25 AM-W/F-Meredith, NH-46 Plymouth St. Fire showing from 2nd floor of a 3-story apartment building on arrival, M/A responded to the fire from Laconia, Holderness and Moultonboro. Cause was a child playing with a lighter.

1017)2:35 PM-MVA-Dublin, NH-Route 101. Car struck a tractor trailer after crossing center line, 2 10-45's code 1 (an elderly couple in the car), the driver of the truck was not injured.

1016)12:00 PM-MVA-York, ME-I-95 near Exit 7. One vehicle lost control while possibly racing another vehicle, jaws were used to extricate the driver. He was transported with non-life threatening injuries.

1015)7:00 PM-MVA-Eddington, ME-Route 9. A pickup left the road and struck a tree and a fire hydrant, trapping the male driver. Jaws were used to extricate him and he was airlifted by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor with serious injuries.

1014)AM-MVA-Bar Harbor, ME-Route 3. A motorcycle left the road and rolled several times, throwing the male rider about 20 feet. He was pronounced dead on the scene.

1012)7:30 PM-W/F-Tilton, NH-Hill St. Electrical fire in a 1-story ranch style house, M/A responded from Belmont, Laconia, Gilford and Franklin.

1011)5:35 PM-MVA-Buxton, ME-Joy Valley Rd (Route 117). A single vehicle went off the road into a tree, with entrapment, jaws used. 2 10-45's code 1, Gorham responded for assistance.

1010)11:35 AM-3rd.AL EQUIV-Old Orchard Beach, ME-20 Old Orchard St @ Dynomite Boutique. A 1-story 30X80 brick commercial building with heavy fire on arrival, extended to 2nd wood frame commercial building and minor damage to 2 other buildings. Three businesses were destroyed, 1 firefighter sufferred a fractured foot when he fell off a ladder. M/A responded from Scarborough, Saco, and Biddeford to the fire, Goodwins Mills engine for coverage.

0999)3:00 PM-W/F-Sanford, ME-area of 500 Main St @ Creteau’s Studio. A 2-story victorian style building with a basement fire, 2 dogs were rescued from the building and a firefighter sufferred a minor injury.

0998)11:45 AM-MVA-Farmington, NH-544 North Main St. 2 cars collided pinning 2 elderly females in one of the cars, jaws used for extrication. 5 10-45's were transported, reported none of injuries were serious. Ambulances from Wakefield, New Durham and Frisbie Memorial Hospital responded.

0997)05:15 AM-MVA-Danbury, NH-Route 104 near Eastern Rd. A Jeep Cherokee left the road and went over an enbankment, then rolled over several times. Jaws were used to extricate the male operator, a female passenger was removed immediately. Both 10-45's had serious injuries.

0996)12:05 AM-MVA-Concord, NH-Commercial St by the Marriott Hotel. 1 victim trapped in a vehicle, extrication tools used. 3 other 10-45's out of the vehicle, unknown seriousness of the injuries. **Victim transported 10-45 code 2+, died later in the day at the hospital.

0995)8:45 PM-W/F-Manchester, NH-Clinton St. A structure fire.

0994)8:00 PM-MVA-Westfield, ME-Route 1 near Miller Rd. A tractor trailer going down a hill swerved to avoid a moose, then rolled over after trying to swerve back around a curve, striking a pickup truck and a telephone ploe. The driver was pinned in the truck, jaws used for extrication. Both drivers were treated and released from Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. DEP was called for a minor deisel fuel leak, Mars Hill FD responded for extrication.

0993)02:58 AM-3rd.AL-Nashua, NH-20 Mulberry St. A 1.5 story wood frame house, heavy fire conditions. A male neighbor rescued an elderly female from the house, all other occupants got out. 3 residents and 2 firefighters were transported with minor injuries. A male family member was charged with starting the fire.

0989)11:00 AM-TRACTOR ACCIDENT-Scarborough, ME-59 Winnocks Neck Rd. A female victim trapped under a farm tractor, 1 10-45 code 1.

0988)09:01 AM-W/F-Thomaston, ME-107 New County Rd @ Dragon Cement. Fire in a large coal bin and duct work inside the building. M/A from Rockland with 1 engine and manpower.

0987)12:30 AM-2nd.AL-Rye, NH-189 Sagamore Ave. A 2-story wood frame house fully involved, a family dog alerted the occupants to the fire by barking. M/A responded from New Castle, Portsmouth, North Hampton, Stratham, Hampton, Greenland and Newington.

A 37 y/o male passenger in the car died after being transported to the hospital, the othe 2 victims were also transported. SP responded for reconstruction.

0983)AM-MVA-Lewiston, ME-Lisbon St. A female who had stopped to assist an injured dog in the roadway was struck and killed by another vehicle.

0978)3:05 PM-MVA-New Hampton, NH-I-93 south near Exit 24. A vehicle rolled over with 1 10-45 code 2 ejected from the car. The victim was taken by helicopter to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Hospital. Assistance responded from Ashland and Plymouth.

0977)07:05 AM-W/F-Westbrook, ME-Larrabee Village. Fire contained in one apartment, several residents had to be evacuated due to smoke and water damage. M/A responded.

0975)08:40 AM-ATV ACCIDENT-Buckfield, ME-29 Depot St. 20 y/o operator of an ATV was seriously injured, Lifeflight responded to transport to CMMC in Lewiston.

0974)03:18 AM-2nd.AL-Hudson, NH-14 Village Ln. A mobile home with fire showing on arrival, responding firefighters rescued a woman trapped in the structure. M/A responded from Litchfield, Nashua and Windham.

0973)10:45 PM-MVA-Cary, ME-Route 1 @ Skedgell Rd. A single vehicle left the road, then overcorrected and rolled over. Male driver, the only occupant, was transported to Houlton Regional Hospital with severe head injuries. He died at the hospital.

0972)8:18 PM-ACW-Derry, NH-Crystal Ave at the rear of Pizza Hut. A storage shed fully involved on arrival.

0971)6:30 PM-ACW-Salem, NH-Cook's Mobile Home Park. A kitchen fire in a mobile home, quick knock down by responding firefighters.

0970)01:20 AM-3rd.AL-Rockland, ME-Summer St @ the Methodist Conference Home. Over 40 elderly residents had to be evacuated due to heavy smoke from a fire in the laundry room. Sprinklers helped to contain the fire until firefighters arrived, the residents were allowed to return to thier rooms. M/A responded from Thomaston & South Thomaston.

0967)07:00 AM-MVA-Belfast, ME-Route 3 near the Londonderry Inn. A car was struck by a tractor trailer while passing, the only occupant was extricated by jaws and transported with serious injuries to Waldo County General Hospital, then flown to EMMC in Bangor.

0966)06:50 AM-W/F-Kingston, NH-39 Depot Rd @ New England Forestry Products. A deep seated sawdust fire in a kiln, M/A responded.

0965)11:45 PM-MVA-Concord, NH-I-93. A pedestrian wearing dark clothing was struck and killed by a tractor trailer, SP responded to investigate.

0964)7:20 PM-4th.AL-Webster, NH-1377 Battle St. A colonial-era barn was fully involved, but firefighters saved an attached farmhouse. Two horses were lost in the blaze. Over a dozen departments responded M/A to the fire, 1 firefighter was transported for exhaustion.

0963)03:00 AM-ACW-South Portland, ME-Maine Mall Rd @ Friendly's Restaurant. 1-story restaurant, electrical fire in area of cooler. M/A responded for coverage.

0962)01:00 AM-W/F-South Portland, ME-Sawyer St & Spurwink Ave. A car struck a garage and burst into flames which quickly engulfed the garage and spread to a 1-story ranch, heavy fire on arrival. 3 occupants of the vehicle fled prior to arrival of police and firefighters.
