0988)10:30 PM-MVA-Bedford, NH-Wallace Rd. A car struck a tree, 1 subject was ejected from the vehicle. 1 fatality on scene, the accident is under investigation.

0987)4:30 PM-MVA-Corinth, ME-Route 15. A car struck and killed a teenage girl who was crossing the roadway. State Police responded to investigate.

0986)4:00 PM-MVA-Fairfield, ME-Main St near the Waterville line. A male pedestrian was struck by a car and killed, police reconstructed the scene.

0985)10:00 PM-2nd.AL-Northfield, NH-314 Sandogardy Pond Rd. A 1.5 story residential building fire, M/A responded from several towns.

0984)3:35 PM-W/F-Nashua, NH-4 Shedds Ave. A 2-story 2-unit apartment building, fire in a bedroom on the 2nd floor gutted the room. It was started from a heating lamp for an iguana, which died in the fire.

0983)11:02 AM-W/F-Embden, ME-344 Dunbar Hill Rd. Heavy fire showing from hay in a barn, firefighters were able to save the barn with damage to a wall and portion of the roof. Most of the hay in the barn was destroyed. m/A responded from Madison, Solon and New Portland.

0982)12:15 AM-W/F-Manchester, ME-Prescott Rd. A barn fully involved on arrival, an adjoining house was saved by firefighters. M/A responded from several towns.

0980)12:20 AM-W/F-Westbrook, ME-99 Falmouth St. A 1.5-story house with heavy fire showing on arrival, a male occupant jumped from a rear roof and was transported with an ankle injury and burns. M/A responded.

0979)10:16 AM-W/F-Londonderry, NH-Anderson Ln. A bedroom fire in a residence, with some extension. The fire was quickly knocked down.

0978)08:25 AM-W/F-Laconia, NH-84 Plantation Rd. Heavy fire showing from the attic area of a building, M/A responded.

0977)06:40 AM-3rd.AL-Newmarket, NH-50 Exeter St. A building fire, M/A responded from several towns.

0976)5:00 PM-MVA-Newington, NH-Spaulding Turnpike at the Exit 3 overpass. A Chevy truck spun out of control and was struck by a Ford Mustang, a male passenger in the Mustang died in the collision. A Chrysler Sebring then struck the Mustang, the accident is believed to have been caused by bad weather and poor road conditions. No one else was injured in the crash.

0975)3:48 PM-2nd.AL-Dover, NH-99 Piscataqua rd. Heavy fire in a 2-car attached garage, the building was gutted. A classic car was also destroyed in the blaze. M/A responded from Durham, Barrington, Newington and Madbury.

0974)1:45 PM-ACW-Saco, ME-68 Spring St. Fire on the 2nd floor porch of a 2-story residence, quickly extinguished. M/A responded from Biddeford.

0973)2:29 PM-W/F-Cushing, ME-79 Woody Ln. Single family home fully involved on arrival and exploding oxygen tanks in the house. 1 elderly female was transported for smoke inhalation. A space heater caused the fire. M/A from Friendship Fire/EMS and Thomaston Fire/EMS.

0972)1:25 PM-3rd.AL-Keene, NH-26 Fowler St. Heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor of a building, reported subjects rescued from the building. M/A responded from several towns.

0971)12:35 PM-W/F-Bradford, NH-16 Greenhouse Ln. A chimney fire extended to the walls of a 2.5 story wood frame dwelling, M/A responded to the scene.

0970)11:39 AM-2nd.AL-Troy, NH-35 Fitzwilliam Rd. A garage fully involved, M/A responded to the scene.

0969)10:52 PM-ACW-Gilford, NH-550 Cherry Valley Rd. Fire extended into a partition from a wood stove, M/A from Laconia responded to cover.

0968)11:40 AM-MVA-Sanford, ME-Route 4 near the North Berwick line. 2 vehicles collided head-on, a 51 y/o male driver was killed in the collision. The driver of the 2nd vehicle was not injured. The accident is under investigation.

0967)11:30 AM-MVA-Woolwich, ME-Route 1. A woman and her husband both died after colliding head-on with another car. Two male occupants in the 2nd car were taken to the hospital with minor injuries. Icy road conditions is believed to be the cause of the accident.

0965)9:00 PM-MVA-Lamoine, ME-Mud Creek Rd. A pickup truck lost control and rolled over, ejecting the 22 y/o male driver who was killed in the accident. His 20 y/o male passenger was transported with minor injuries.

0964)10:02 PM-2nd.AL-South Berwick, ME-Pine St. Heavy fire on the 2nd floor of a 2-story split level, 2nd alarm called on arrivel. M/A responded to the scene and for coverage.

0963)4:30 PM-W/F-Belgrade, ME-Taylor Woods Rd. A 2-bay garage fully involved. M/A responded from Smithfield, Rome, Sidney and Oakland to the fire.

0961)2:30 PM-2nd.AL-Lee, NH-9 Spencer Ln. A garage fire extended to an attached 2.5 story house, heavy fire destroyed the building. M/A responded to the scene from eight towns. The fire was started accidently by a teen playing with fireworks in the garage.

0960)11:15 AM-MVA-Eastport, ME-High St. A car struck and broke a utility pole, the 58 y/o male driver was taken to Calais Regional Hospital where he was pronounced dead. The accident is under investigation.

0959)10:00 AM-W/F-Vassalboro, ME-Main St. A fire under a mobile home, there was heavy heat and smoke damage done to the structure. M/A from Winslow responded.

0958)9:00 PM-W/F-Caswell, ME-Unknown address. A single family house fire. An 84 y/o male, the only occupant, was killed in the fire. The Maine Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.

0957)7:50 PM-W/F-Merrimack, NH-10 Canterbury Way. Heavy fire in an attached garage, firefighters stopped the fire from getting into the residence. M/A responded from Manchester & Nashua. A 7 y/o boy is credited with seeing the fire and alerting his family, which limited damage done to the house.

0954)4:10 PM-MVA-Amherst, NH-Baboosic Lake Rd. A car struck a pickup head-on on a winding road. The driver of the car, a 51 y/o retired Nashua Fire Dept Lieutenant, was killed in the collision. The driver of the truck was not injured.

0953)3:00 PM-W/F-Wells, ME-745 Wire Rd. Fire in a 24X36 wood frame building, M/A responded.

0952)6:08 PM-W/F-North Berwick, ME-22 Elm St. Fire on the 2nd floor of a 3-story wood frame apartment building, M/A from Berwick & South Berwick responded.

0951)5:40 PM-MVA-Glenburn, ME-Route 221 about 1/2 mile north of the Glenburn Elementary School. A vehicle turned into on-coming traffic and struck another vehicle, the male driver of the first car was killed. The female driving the second car was transported to EMMC in Bangor with non-life threatening injuries.

0950)03:30 AM-W/F-Bangor, ME-208 Garland St. A fire started on the porch of a 2-story apartment building, it extended to the attic. The State Fire Marshal's Office was called to investigate.

0948)3:40 PM-2nd.AL-Farmington, NH-187 Elm St. A garage heavily involved in fire, exposed to two houses. The houses were not damaged, the garage and a lot of equipment inside was deatroyed. M/A responded from Milton, New Durham, Alton, Wakefield and Middleton.

0947)6:43 PM-W/F-Exeter, NH-Wentworth St. A well involved garage fire extended to an attached ranch-style house and a shed. The garage was destroyed and there was heavy daamge to the house. M/A responded to the scene from several towns.

0946)5:43 PM-W/F-Portland, ME-53 Allen Ave. Fire in the basement of a building.

0945)1:55 PM-2nd.AL-Manchester, NH-5 Courtside Way at Wellington Hill Apts. Heavy fire in a 2-story 40X100 multi-unit apartment building. Two units were destroyed and two others were damaged, 13 people were left homeless.

0944)09:50 AM-W/F-Casco, ME-Penny Hill Rd. A structure fire, M/A responded from Raymond.

0942)10:50 PM-W/F-Portland, ME-33 Allen Ave. Heavy smoke showing from a vacant building, there was fire in a stairwell and a wall.

0941)5:30 PM-MVA-Somersworth, NH-Cornfield Dr. A female was trying to free her dog whose leash got tangled in the car she was driving. When she got out of the car it was still in reverse and it dragged her and the dog down the 75-foot driveway and pinned her against the garage. She was transported to Douglas-Wentworth hospital where she died a short time later, her dog was also killed.

0940)10:30 AM-W/F-New Gloucester, ME-Marston Rd. A vacant cottage fully involved, the structure was completely destroyed. M/A responded from Gray and Poland. The fire was determined to be suspicious and the State Fire Marshal's Office will be investigating.

0939)01:45 AM-MVA-Charlestown, NH-RT 12 near Oxbrook Rd. A truck off the road into a tree. 1 trapped subject was extricated with jaws from Claremont Rescue and transported via DHART from the scene in very serious condition. Another subject was pronounced dead at the scene.

0938)08:00 AM-W/F-Bucksport, ME-International Paper Mill Co. A fire in the duct work of a mill, the fire was mostly contained to the ventilation system. M/A responded from Orland and Orrington.

0937)01:46 AM-MVA-Northwood, NH-Long Pond Rd. A car lost control and went off the road, it then crashed into a tree and burst into flames. The 45 y/o male driver was transported to Concord Hospital, where he later died. The accident is under investigation.

0936)11:00 PM-MVA-Canaan, ME-Route 2. A car struck a utility pole, a 33 y/o male passenger was killed in the crash. The driver, a 30 y/o male, was taken by Lifeflight to the hospital with serious injuries.

0935)9:00 PM-W/F-Madison, NH-Epping Farm Rd. A fully involved 1-story house, M/A responded to the scene.

0934)7:00 PM-W/F-Windsor, ME-Old Route 17. A mobile home fire, the structure was heavily damaged. M/A responded from Coopers Mills, Whitefield and Jefferson.

0933)3:35 PM-2nd.AL-Marlboro, NH-67 Water St. A garage fire extended to a house, M/A responded from several towns.

0931)08:00 AM-W/F-North Berwick, ME-364 Fox farm Hill Rd. A 2-story barn well involved attached to a large farmhouse. Firefighters were able to save the house, M/A responded from several towns.

0930)07:20 AM-PLANE CRASH-Manchester, NH-Route 101 at Wal-Mart. A twin engine plane with only a pilot on board crashed into the garden center area of Wal-Mart, then struck some storage units. The pilot was helped out of the area from some bystanders before the plane caught fire. He had a broken leg and a head injury. The FAA is investigating the accident.

0929)02:00 AM-W/F-Fort Fairfield, ME-Conant Rd. A house and attached barn/garage were destroyed by fire. On arrival most of the garage had collapsed and most of the house was destroyed, M/A responded from Limestone.

0922)9:18 PM-W/F-Milton, NH-101 Willey Rd. A 30X30 cottage fully involved on arrival, a male occupant was transported with minor injuries. M/A tankers responded to the scene.

0921)08:30 AM-MVA-Buxton, ME-Route 112. A tractor-trailer hauling a dump trailer rolled over, killing the male driver. The accident is under investigation.

0920)02:00 AM-W/F-Eddington, ME-575 Riverside Dr (Route 178). A 2-story house fire, heavy fire showing on arrival. Six towns responded M/A to the scene.

0918)01:55 AM-2nd.AL-Barnstead, NH-999 Province Rd. Heavy fire showing from a 2.5 story wood frame house, originally built in 1798. Fire was kept from extending to an attached "el" and barn. Several towns responded to the fire.
