1262)8:55 PM-W/F-Bangor, ME-255 Union St. A fire in an apartment building, contained to 1 apartment. 1 female 10-45 code 2+ had CPR performed on her and was transported to EMMC in Bangor.

1261)5:50 PM-MVA-Waterboro, ME-Sokokis Trail. Car into a ditch with entrapment, jaws used. M/A rescue responded.

1260)2:30 PM-MVA-Monmouth, ME-Route 202 west near Route 132. A SUV crashed into the rear of a Monmouth school bus. The driver of the SUV was trapped, extrication tools used to get him out. He was transported by Lifeflight with abdominal injuries to CMMC in Lewiston. None of the students nor the bus driver were injured. A Winthrop ambulance responded to assist.

1259)2:25 PM-W/F-Farmington, ME-374 Porter Hill Rd. A house fire, heavy smoke and fire showing on arrival. M/A responded responded from 3 towns.

1258)12:30 PM-4th.AL-St. George, ME-45 Walston Rd in Tenants Harbor. Heavy fire showing on arrival from a 2 story wood frame house, 1 10-45 code 3 was transported with smoke inhalation. Two dogs died in the fire, M/A responded from Thomaston and South Thomaston to the scene.

1257)10:30 AM-3rd.AL-Concord, NH-Eastern Ave @ East Side Village. Heavy fire in a row of 2-story townhouses, 1 firefighter was transported for a minor injury. 27 residents were displaced from their homes, some may be able to return within a month. M/A responded from 10 communities.

1256)06:20 AM-MVA-Avon, ME-Route 4. An SUV lost control on ice and collided with an on-coming pickup truck, Farmington responded with jaws for extrication. 1 occupant of the SUV was 10-45 code 1. A second occupant had serious injuries and was transported to CMMC in Lewiston. The driver of the pickup was treated and released from a local hospital with minor injuries.

1255)05:00 AM-MVA-Greenbush, ME-Route 2 just north of the Lower River Rd. A car crossed the center line and struck another car, causing the 2nd car to go into a ditch. Jaws were used to extricate 1 10-45 code 1 on scene (from the car in the ditch) and 1 10-45 code 2+ (critical from the 1st car) was transported. M/A ambulance and rescue responded from Old Town, State Police are investigating the accident.

1254)8:25 PM-W/F-Atkinson, ME-386 Range Rd. A 36X44 2-bay local mechanic's garage fully involved on arrival, about $45,000 worth of tools were also destroyed in the fire. M/A responded to the scene from Guilford, Sebec, Sangerville, Milo, Charleston and Corinth. Coverage was provided by Bowerbank & Kenduskeag.

1253)AM-W/F-Waterville, ME-4 Valley Ave. 1.5 story house fire, mostly contained to bathroom area but heavy smoke and heat damage throughout the 1st floor of the structure.

1252)03:30 AM-W/F-Corinna, ME-7 Winchester Ave. A 2-story house well involved on arrival. The owner, a firefighter, got all the occupants out of the home, which was gutted. M/A responded from Dexter & Garland.

1250)4:30 PM-ACW-Friendship, ME-3261 Finntown Rd. An older model car caught on fire while the owner was doing work on it inside a garage and extended to the building. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire, M/A engine responded from Cushing.

1249)1:35 PM-MVA-Lincoln, ME-West Broadway near the RR tracks. A car struck a building, 1 10-45 code 1 on scene. Possible medical problem caused the accident, which is under investigation.

1248)12:30 PM-W/F-Croydon, NH-Beach Road at Rocky Bound Pond. A structure fire at a firefighters house, quickly knocked down with major smoke damage. M/A from Newport and Grantham to the scene with coverage from Goshen.

1247)08:45 AM-MVA-Derry, NH-I-93 southbound by Exit 4. A vehicle rolled over with entrapment, jaws used.

1246)09:50 AM-2nd.AL-Claremont, NH-South St. A couch which caught fire the night before and was extinguished by residents and placed on a 3rd floor porch rekindled and started a fire in the apartment building. Heavy fire on arrival on 2nd & 3rd floors, two residents had to be rescued by responding firefighters, M/A responded from Cornish & Newport.

1245)08:30 AM-MVA-Derry, NH-I-93 at the Exit 4 entrance ramp. A vehicle rolled over an enbankment and trapped a female occupant, extrication tools used to get her out. She was transported with minor injuries.

1244)03:45 AM-W/F-Portland, ME-2 Hicks St. Fire in a 2-car garage attached to a house, the house was saved, all hands sounded on arrival.

1243)8:25 PM-MVA-Lewiston, ME-147 East Ave. 2 vehicles head-on, one of the vehicles then rolled over. Jaws used to extricate trapped victim, unknown injuries.

1242)8:10 PM-MVA-Portland, ME-849 Forest Ave. A vehicle rolled over with entrapment, jaws used.

1241)4:45 PM-MVA-Farmington, NH-Route 11 near Route 153. 3 vehicles involved with entrapment in 2 of the vehicles. 1 fatality and 2 others with serious injuries, 5 10-45's were transported. 2 sets of jaws used and 2 rescues responded, M/A assisted from Rochester & Milton.

1240)03:30 AM-MVA-Sharon, NH-Route 124 westbound. A pickup ran off the road and struck a tree, 1 10-45 was transported to Monadnock Regional Hospital in Peterborough were he died from his injuries. State Police are investigating the accident.

1238)5:00 PM-MVA-Portsmouth, NH-Islington St near Broadcast Ave. A pickup truck struck and killed a female pedestrian, a nurse driving by started CPR. Police reconstructed the scene and are investigating.

1235)9:49 PM-W/F-Rockland, ME-2 Orange St. An outside fire started in a construction chute attached to the 2nd floor of a 2.5 story home undergoing renovation extended up the side of the building and into the eves. M/A from Thomaston to the scene.

1234)5:00 PM-W/F-Wytopitlock, ME-Route 171 at "Elves and Angels". A wood toy workshop well involved, an attached 2-story house was saved. Approximately $70,000 worth of toys, (about 4 months of work), were destroyed along with the workshop.

1233)11:00 AM-3rd.AL-Kittery, ME-65 Brave Boat Harbor Rd. A large 50X40 2-story barn well involved on arrival, also destroyed in the fire were a 35' sailboat and a truck which were inside. M/A responded from several departments.

1232)AM-W/F-Webster, NH-Little Hill Rd. A 2-story wood frame 200 year old house fully involved. Possibly started from a propane heater, M/A responded from several towns.

1229)12:45 PM-W/F-Sebago, ME-Hawkes Rd off Route 114. A garage fully involved, the building was destroyed. M/A responded from Naples and Standish.

1228)09:49 AM-3rd.AL-Wolfeboro, NH-410 Sewall Rd. A fire in a construction trailer and a dumpster extended to a 2-story carriage house, the 2nd floor and roof were damaged in the blaze. Several departments responded M/A.

1227)8:14 PM-MVA-Nashua, NH-Route 3 (Everett Turnpike) near Exit 1. An SUV lost control and rolled over with entrapment of 1 person and another was ejected from the vehicle, 2 sets of jaws were used. 3 10-45's, 2 with serious injuries, were transported.

1226)5:17 PM-MVA-Monson, ME-Route 15. Heavy fog was determined to be the cause of a 3-vehicle accident, a vehicle headed south crossed the line and struck 2 vehicles headed north. 1 vehicle rolled over with entrapment, jaws were used. 3 10-45's were transported to the hospital.

1225)2:20 PM-W/F-Hancock, ME-East Side Rd. Fire in a house, possibly electrical, which burned out a dining room floor. M/A responded from Sorrento and Sullivan.

1224)01:25 AM-MVA-Strafford, NH-First Crown Point Rd. Single vehicle rolled over with entrapment, A heavy rescue responded from Rochester to assist with extrication.

1223)01:00 AM-MVA-Durham, NH-Main St. A male subject was struck and killed by a vehicle, the driver of the car was charged with DWI.

1222)4:00 PM-W/F-Naples, ME-66 Lambs Mill Rd. Fire showing from the 1st floor windows of a 2-story house on arrival, the fire was knocked down and the home was saved by responding firefighters. A discovery of a large amount of marijuana plants in the basement led police to charge the male owner of the house with aggravated trafficking of marijuana. M/A responded from Casco, Bridgton and Sebago.

1218)PM-MVA-Hollis, NH-Route 130 westbound. A Ford Explorer lost control and rolled over several times and ejecting the driver, a 16 y/o male. He was transported with serious injuries and later died at a Boston hospital where he had been flown. The accident is under investigation.

1217)PM-W/F-Portsmouth, NH-18 Windsor Rd @ Gosling Meadows. Fire in an apartment on the 1st floor of a 2-story apartment house, the 2nd floor had smoke and heat damage.

1216)9:10 PM-W/F-Dexter, ME-Hyland Ave & Dustin St. A barn well involved with little extension to an adjacent 2-story house, the barn and a car was destroyed. M/A responded.

1215)03:20 AM-W/F+-Goffstown, NH-Factory St. A large 2-story mill building used as a warehouse was destroyed, several towns responded M/A to the scene and for coverage.

1214)AM-W/F-Boothbay, ME-Route 27 @ Knickerbocker Design. Heavy fire involved a large 1.5 story wood frame building. The business builds builds custom homes and kitchen cabinets and also had offices, it was destroyed in the fire. M/A responded from several towns.

1205)6:40 PM-2nd.AL-Merrimack, NH-14 Brek Dr. A 2-story wood frame occupied house well involved, the structure was gutted. M/A responded to the fire and for coverage.

1204)PM-FOREST FIRE-Bartlett, NH-White Mountain National Forest. A fire discovered on Sunday has burned over 100 acres, crews have contained the fire and expect to go back into the scene over the next couple of days. A helicopter may be called in to make water drops if the fire starts to extend.

1203)11:35 AM-HAZ/MAT-Concord, NH-East St & Crescent St at the former Penacook mill and tannery . A small fire possibly involving asbestos tiles and other chemicals prompted an evacuation of the area and a haz/mat team. Foam was applied to the area to keep down the fumes.

1202)PM-MVA-Woodstock, NH-Route 112 eastbound. A car swerved off the road and struck several trees, 1 10-45 code 2+ was transported to Dartmouth Hitchcock Medical Center where she later died.

1201)2:44 PM-2nd.AL-Portland, ME-51 Oak St @ the Oak Street Restaurant. Fire in the basement of a restaurant which had an inn on the 2nd floor, possibly an electrical fire which got into the ceiling and walls. Occupants of the Oak Leaf Inn had been evacuated and were allowed to return following the fire.

1200)1:55 PM-MVA-York, ME-Route 91 & Mill Ln. A police cruiser collided with another car, occupied by a man and a woman. The woman needed to be extricated with use of the jaws, she was transported to York Hospital. The police officer was also transported with minor injuries, the driver of the car was not injured. York PD & State Police are investigating the accident.

1199)10:00 AM-W/F-Brownfield, ME-Shepards River Rd. A mobile home well involved, M/A responded from Denmark and Hiram.

1198)06:40 AM-W/F-Milford, ME-226 Main Rd (Route 2) @ Riverside Pines Trailer Park. A mobile home fully involved, 2 men (brothers) were 10-45 code 1 on scene. An RV parked near the trailer was destroyed and a GMC truck was damaged. M/A responded from Old Town, the State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.

1194)2:50 PM-MVA-Standish, ME-Route 25. A tour bus went through a red light and struck a station wagon, trapping the female driver, jaws were used. The female and 3 juveniles from the bus were transported to the hospital. The driver of the bus was charged for running the red light.

1193)12:00 PM-2nd.AL-Windham, NH-138 Londonderry Rd. A 2.5 story wood frame building fully involved, M/A responded from several departments.

1192)10:00 AM-W/F-Livermore Falls, ME-Pleasant St. Heavy fire on the 1st floor of a 2-story house extended to the 2nd floor. One of three dogs died in the fire, M/A responded.

1187)3:35 PM-MVA-Eexter, NH-Powder Mill Rd. A car rolled over injuring 3 juveniles, 1 who was trapped in the vehicle, jaws were used for extrication. All 3 were transported, at least 1 with serious injuries. A M/A ambulance responded from Kingston.

1186)05:15 AM-W/F-Scarborough, ME-96 Gorham Rd (Route 114). A 2.5 story cape cod style house, heavy smoke showing on arrival with report of persons trapped. 2 10-45's code 2 and 1 10-45 code 3, injuries from smoke and burns, transported to MMC in Portland. A 43 y/o female later died at the hospital, The State Fire Marshal's office determined she had been smoking in bed. M/A rescue from South Portland.

1183)10:37 PM-2nd.AL-Scarborough, ME-156 Pleasant Hill Rd @ Maietta Construction Co. A large storage building fully involved, 2nd alarm was called on arrival, the fire extended to a 2nd garage. The building contained chemicals and the area was evacuated, Haz/Mat team & DEP were requested to the fire. M/A responded from several towns to the fire and for coverage.

1182)7:10 PM-W/F-Clinton, ME-943 Hinckley Rd. A large 2.5 story barn fully involved on arrival with reported explosions, embers on 2 nearby houses were extinguished with no extension. Some embers started spot fires up to 2 miles away. Some vehicles including 2 new snowmobiles were lost in the fire, M/A responded from Winslow, Caanan and Fairfield; Burnham for coverage.

1181)01:00 AM-MVA-Kennebunk, ME-I-95 (Maine Turnpike). A tractor trailer struck a construction dump truck which had gotten stuck under an overpass with the box up, the driver of the t/t was trapped and had to be extricated, he sufferred minor injuries.

1177)5:20 PM-W/F-Norway, ME-598 Greenwoods Rd. An old country store was well involved on arrival, 1 civilian 10-45 with burns to the arm. M/A responded.

1176)6:30 PM-MVA-Turner, ME-Route 4. A motorcycle passing another vehicle collided head-on with a tractor trailer, the operator of the motorcycle was killed.

1175)2:00 PM-MVA-Ellsworth, ME-Route 1 westbound. 2 cars involved with 1 person trapped and 4 injured. Jaws used for extrication, 1 10-45 code 2 was transported by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor, the other injuries were minor.

1174)AM-MVA-Clifton, ME-Route 9. 1 car accident with entrapment, jaws used. 2 10-45's were transported to the hospital, assistance responded from Eddington, Brewer, and Aurora.

1172)11:45 PM-W/F-Tilton, NH-West Main St. A vacant house with fire showing from the 2nd floor on arrival. M/A responded to the fire and for coverage.

1171)7:00 PM-MVA-Randolph, NH-Route 2. A car skidded sideways on the snow-covered road and was struck by an on-coming car. The driver and passenger in the car were both killed, 2 men in the second car were injured. The accident is under investigation.

1170)09:30 AM-W/F-Wilton, ME-Depot ST @ the former Foster Plant. A vacant 4-story wood frame manufacturing plant, fire on the 2nd floor was knocked down in about half an hour. M/A responded to the fire.

1169)08:40 AM-MVA-Winslow, ME-Route 32 by Bassett Rd. A pickup truck rolled over and went down an enbankment, the driver had to be extricated from the truck. Some persons tied a rope to the truck to keep it from sliding further down the enbankment into a stream. The driver only sufferred minor injuries.

1169)06:00 AM-MVA-Turner, ME-Route 4. A car passing another vehicle crashed head-on with a pickup truck, 1 10-45 code 1 on scene. The driver of the truck was taken to EMMC in Lewiston with minor injuries, State Police are investigating the accident.

1168)04:15 AM-MVA-Long A Township, ME-Route 11. A pickup apparently lost control in icy conditions and rolled over, partially ejecting the driver. 1 10-45 code 1 on scene, was located at 04:15 but could have occurred sometime after midnight.

1164)8:50 PM-W/F-Augusta, ME-Bolton Hill Rd. A house fire, heavy fire on the 2nd floor on arrival. M/A responded.

1163)6:00 PM-MVA-Canterbury, NH-I-93. A male driver of a car was killed when the car went off the road, over an enbankment, and crashed into a tree. State Police are investigating.

1162)2:48 PM-MVA-Corinna, ME-Route 43 outside the village. A pickup went over an enbankment and into some trees in a field, the driver was trapped in the truck, which caught fire. Responding officers used an extinguisher to knock down the flames, jaws used for extrication. Lifeflight transported the male with serious injuries and burns to EMMC in Bangor, he was then transferred to Boston.

1160)11:30 AM-W/F-Portland, ME-67 Riverton St. An overheated fan motor started a fire in 1 unit of an apartment building. The fire was quickly knocked down.

1158)9:25 PM-MVA-Gray, ME-138 West Gray Rd. A vehicle rolled over with entrapment, Windham responded with jaws for extrication.

1157)9:20 PM-2nd.AL-Marlow, NH-Route 10 near the Post Office. A building fire, M/A responded from Lempster, Unity, Alstead, Stodard, and Gilsum. Goshen and Keene for station coverage. The Marlow Fire Chief was taken to Cheshire Medical Center for respitory distress.

1156)02:00 AM-W/F-Oxford, ME-12 Sheryl Ln @ Oxford Pines Trailer Park. A mobile home fire, a 7 y/o boy died from smoke inhalation and an 11 mos girl was rescued by a neighbor, she was transported to the hospital. M/A responded from Norway, Mechanic Falls and Otisfield, the State Fire Marshall's office is investigating.

1155)01:50 AM-MVA-Bow, NH-I-89 southbound between exits 1 & 2. A tractor trailer carrying dry concrete rolled over, the male driver was ejected and died from his injuries.

1154)5:30 PM-MVA-Nashua, NH-East Hollis St. A male pedestrian was struck and killed by a pickup truck while walking in the roadway, the male was wearing dark clothing and the driver of the truck was not charged. The accident is under investigation.

1153)5:25 PM-2nd.AL-Hopkinton, NH-929 Rollins Rd. Heavy fire in a 1-story house, 1 firefighter was treated for a minor injury which he recieved when he fell through the floor into the basement. M/A responded from several towns.

1152)3:45 PM-W/F-Nottingham, NH-Dolloff Dam Rd. A structure fire, heavy smoke showing on arrival. M/A responded to the fire.
