0545)AM-W/F-Bucksport, ME-Thomas St. A kitchen fire extended to a couple other rooms in a 2-story wood frame house, 2 occupants were transported to the hospital and treated for smoke inhalation. M/A responded to the fire.

0544)03:50 AM-W/F-Oxford, ME-Off Route 26 @ the Oxford Fairgrounds. A barn fire, M/A responded to the scene.

0542)10:00 PM-MVA-Harrington, ME-Route 1A. A 42 y/o female swerved her car into the opposite lane and struck an SUV head-on, she was killed in the collision. Three persons in the SUV were transported with minor injuries.

0541)8:10 PM-2nd.AL-Campton, NH-Page Rd. A large explosion and fire in a house, it was fully involved on arrival and there was no one home at the time of the fire. M/A responded to the scene from several towns, possibly started from a propane leak.

0540)1:30 PM-MVA-New London, NH-Route 89 north on the Exit 12 off Ramp. SUV went under a Tractor Trailer, it hit between the rear wheels of the cab and the wheels of the trailer. 1 fatality & one victim with severe injury, transported to the hospital by DHART.

0539)08:46 AM-2nd.AL-Bristol, NH-22 Remick Rd. Heavy fire in a 20X40 farm building which stored equipment for milking cows. M/A responded from Alexandria, New Hampton, Hill, Bridgewater, Hebron, Ashland, and Plymouth.

0537)6:30 PM-MVA-Jay, ME-Davis Rd. A pickup truck struck a 9 y/o boy on a bicycle, the boy was critically injured and transported by Lifeflight to MMC in Portland.

0536)07:35 AM-MVA-Sanford, ME-Grammer Rd. 2 cars invovled, 1 car rolled over with entrapment. Jaws used to extricate a woman with minor injuries, the male driver of the 2nd vehicle was not injured.

0535)05:00 AM-W/F-Bar Harbor, ME-The Acadia Wildlife Foundation in the village of Town Hill. A 320 square foot outbuiding well involved, it housed some injured animals for the foundation. The building was destroyed and some animals were lost.

0534)8:15 PM-MVA-Big Moose Township, ME-Route 15. A vehicle struck a 500 lbs. moose, the male driver had to be extricated with hydraulic equipment. He was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

0533)10:18 AM-MVA-Farmington, NH-Lancerlot Shores off Meaderboro Rd. A car struck a tree with entrapment, jaws used for extrication of 2 persons. Rochester FD responded M/A.

0532)09:15 AM-W/F-Old Orchard Beach, ME-30 West Grand Ave @ Best Value MT Royal Motel. Heavy fire in 1 unit on the 1st floor of a 2-story 200X20 wood frame motel, fire extended to 2nd floor. 4-6 units were damaged, M/A responded from Saco and Scarborough to the fire.

0529)3:55 PM-W/F-Milford, NH-359 Elm St @ Hayward’s Trading Post and Country Store. A small electrical fire in the store, heavy smoke throughout but caused minimal damage.

0528)12:10 PM-MVA-Thornton, NH-I-93 northbound. A tractor trailer hauling trash lost control and rolled onto the guardrail, the 34 y/o male driver was killed in the crash. The accident is under investigation.

0526)2:15 PM-MVA-Trenton, ME-Route 3. A septic truck struck a line of cars backed up waiting for a road contruction crew, 6 vehicles were involved in the accident. Two persons had to be extricated with jaws, they were transported to Coast Memorial Hospital in Ellsworth.

0524)1:00 PM-MVA-Durham, NH-Near 101 Mill Rd. A car left the road on a curve, struck a sign, and then a tree. A 77 y/o male was extricated and transported to the hospital, where he was pronounced dead.

0521)11:10 PM-MVA-Gilford, NH-Lockes Hill Rd. 2 vehicles invovled with 3 persons trapped in one car, jaws were used. The 3 victims were transported to Lakes Region General Hospital, the driver of the 2nd car was not injured.

0520)2:30 PM-MVA-Nashua, NH-F.E. Everett Turnpike at the Exit 4 off ramp. A car struck a guardrail and rolled over, killing a male occupant. The scene was closed for reconstructing.

0519)1:40 PM-MVA-Pelham, NH-Old Gage Rd & Eddy Rd. Accident with ejection and entrapment, jaws were used. Reported 5 patients, some with serious injuries, trauma team was activated at SNHMC, M/A responded from Windham and Salem.

0518)08:55 AM-3rd.AL-Gorham, ME-Across from 35 Spiller Rd. A farmhouse fully involved on arrival, extended to a vehicle. A male occupant was transported to the hospital to be checked out. M/A responded from Windham and Scarborough to the scene; Westbrook for coverage.

A vehicle went off the road into a ditch and struck a utility pole, then rolled over with 2 persons trapped, jaws were used for extrication. An 87 y/o male died at the scene, his 58 y/o daughter was transported by Lifeflight to MMC in Portland where she was treated and released.

0513)3:30 PM-MVA-Gilsum, NH-Route 10 south of the Marlow town line. A fatal Motorcycle accident. 1 person died at the scene, a 2nd person transported via DHART with serious injuries.

0512)08:15 AM-W/F-Farmington, ME-Town and Country Trailer Park. A mobile home well involved on arrival, the trailer was gutted. M/A responded from Pittston and Randolph.

0507)5:50 PM-W/F-Biddeford, ME-47 Adams St. Fire on the 1st floor of a 2 & 3 story apartment bulding, contained to 1 unit. A M/A engine from Saco responded to the scene.

0506)12:20 AM-MVA-Moultonborough, NH-Route 25 near the Moultonborough Falls Bridge. A car went off the road, down into a ditch, then struck a culvert and rolled over. The male driver was trapped in the vehicle, jaws were used. He was transported in critical condition to Lakes Region General Hospital, then airlifted to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center in Lebanon.

0504)1:30 PM-W/F-Standish, ME-Route 25 near Route 35 at Fair Point New England. Fire showing from a 3-story historic building on arrival, the original telephone office was located in the building. M/A responded.

0503)10:00 AM-W/F+-Littleton, NH-Pleasant St. Heavy fre in a 2.5 story apartment building, the structure was destroyed. M/A responded from several departments.

0502)05:15 AM-MVA-Lamoine, ME-Route 184. A single vehicle involved, it swerved onto the shoulder and overcorrected, crossing the road and striking a tree. a 17 y/o male passenger was transported by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor in critical condition. The driver had minor injuries, the accident is under investigation.

0500)3:20 PM-3rd.AL-Nashua, NH-31 Manchester St. Fire in a 3-story wood frame apartment building, M/A responded to the scene. An additional engine and ladder responded over the 3rd alarm.

0499)10:43 AM-MVA-Meredith, NH-Route 25 near Patrician Shores Rd. A motorcycle traveling west in the eastbound lane collided head-on with a car. Both drivers were transported to the hospital, the male motorcycle driver was pronounced dead. The female driver of the car had minor injuries.

0498)07:30 AM-3rd.AL-Gilford, NH-82 Cotton Hill Rd. A fully involved 3-story wood frame house, it started in an attached garage. M/A responded from Laconia, Belmont, Winnisquam, Alton, Meredith, Gilmanton, Tilton-Northfield, Franklin, Sanbornton, Holderness and New Durham.

0497)9:05 PM-W/F-North Berwick, ME-Canal St. Heavy fire in a 2.5 story 20X80 garage next to an old mill, M/A responded from South Berwick, Berwick, Kennebunk, and Somersworth to the scene; Wells for coverage.

0496)6:00 PM-MVA-Madison, ME-East Madison Rd. A 19 y/o male lost control of his car which spun around and struck a tree, he was killed in the collision. The accident is under investigation.

0495)12:15 PM-MVA HAZ/MAT-Wells, ME-I-95 (Maine Turnpike) near the Wells Exit. A tractor trailer carrying blasting caps and liquid ammonium nitrate struck a barrier and landed on its side in the median, the driver was not injured. Area residents were evacuated until the incident was under control, the York County HAZ/MAT team was activated until the hazard could be contained and removed. The turnpike was closed from the Kennebunk to York exits for over 3 hours.

0493)4:49 PM-3rd.AL-Goshen, NH-450 Washington Rd. (Route 31). Fire in a 1.5 story brick house, M/A responded from Claremont, Newport, Lempster, Unity, Washington, Sunapee, Grantham, Croydon, Newbury; Acworth covered the Goshen Station.

0492)07:00 AM-ACW-Camden, ME-Elm St @ Reny's Department Store. A fire in the ceiling and roof area, was quickly knocked down. M/A responded from Rockport, Rockland, Hope and Lincolnville.

0491)8:45 PM-MVA-Belfast, ME-Route 1 near the Searsport line. A car struck a moose which landed on the windshield and roof, jaws were used to extricate a trapped 78 y/o man. He was transported to EMMC in Bangor, were he died on Wednesday.

0490)6:55 PM-2nd.AL-Pelham, NH-Bridge St (Route 38). A structure fully involved, M/A responded to the scene and for coverage.

0489)PM-W/F-Caribou, ME-River Rd. A mobile home was destroyed by fire, the home was vacant at the time of the blaze.

0488)2:00 PM-MVA-Saco, ME-New County Rd (Route 5) at Louden Rd. 2 vehicles involved with entrapment in both vehicles, jaws were used for extrication. A female was killed in the collision, the scene was reconstructed by PD.

0487)12:30 PM-ACW-Manchester, NH-Brook St. An explosion and fire at an electrical substation injured 1 worker and knocked out powere to about 4500 residents. Firefighters used foam to knock down the fire, the injured man was taken to a Boston burn unit with burns to his hands and upper body.

0486)07:30 AM-MVA-Prospect, ME-Route 1 near the Waldo-Hancock Bridge. A man driving a dump truck with a load of rocksk lost the breaks and swerved off the road into some trees to avoid striking workers near the bridge. He had to be extricated from the truck and transproted with a back injury and minor cuts.

0483)9:50 PM-MVA-Standish, ME-Route 35. A single vehicle off the road with entrapment, extrication tools were used.

0482)7:10 PM-MVA-Canaan, ME-Route 2 near Tropical Fish Rd. A collision between a pickup truck and a Mercury Sable, 1 victim from the truck and the only occupant in the car were taken by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor. A 2nd occupant in the truck was dead on the scene, the accident is under investigation.

0480)3:00 PM-MVA-Salem, NH-I-93 north between Exits 1 & 2. 1 seriously injured person was trapped, jaws were used.

0477)12:15 PM-W/F-Biddeford, ME-8 Morin St @ Correct Building Supplies. A fire started in a sawdust pile, reported an explosion and 1 employee was injured and transported to SMMC in Biddeford. Fire extended to the ducts in the building, M/A responded from Saco to the scene.

0476)08:30 AM-W/F-Hudson, NH-26 Adam Dr. A 1.5 story house with heavy smoke showing on arrival, M/A responded from Nashua to the scene and Pelham for coverage.

0475)02:30 AM-3rd.AL-Sunapee, NH-Souix Path. A 30X50 2.5 story house with detached garage, a 5th wheel camper plus 5 other vehicles, were all destroyed in the fire. M/A responded from Goshen, Grantham, Lempster, Newbury, Newport, New London, and Springfield to the scene.

0471)4:45 PM-MVA-Lebanon, ME-Route 202 near Silkwood Dr. A car drifted into on-coming traffic and struck a camper being hauled by a pickup, jaws were used to extricate a seriously injured man trapped in the car. Two persons in the 2nd vehicle were not injured.

0470)10:40 AM-2nd.AL-Seabrook, NH-8 Cross Beach Rd. A single story house was destroyed by fire which was believed to have started by a furnace fire, high winds made the fire spread rapidly. One firefighter was injured with burns to his face, M/A responded from Hampton, Hampton Falls and Salisbury,MA; Amesbury,MA for coverage.

0469)6:00 PM-MVA-Chichester, NH-Route 4 & Bailey Rd. 2 cars collided head-on, Dhart responded to transport a victim with serious injuries. 3 M/A rescues responded to the scene.

0468)2:35 PM-PLANE CRASH-Portland, ME-Congress St & Westbrook St at the bank of the Stroutwater River. A small plane with 2 persons on board landed short of the Portland International Jetport and flipped over. The occupants, a male and a female, were not injured and walked away from the crash.

0466)2:25 PM-MVA-Buxton, ME-Route 112 & Mary Jane Rd. A speeding car was struck by a pickup at the intersection, both vehicles rolled over and landed in a ditch upside down. A 17 y/o male in the car died on scene, the teen driver was in critical condition and 2 teens from the truck had serious injuries. They were taken to MMC in Portland, the accident is under investigation.

0465)1:25 PM-MVA-Tilton, NH-Laconia Rd near Jays Marina. A Jeep collided with a Ford Escort, both vehicles struck a guardrail and the Jeep rolled onto its side. 5 patients had to be extricated from the vehicles, jaws were used. Dhart helo responded for transport of one of the victims and several M/A rescues assisted at the scene.

0464)09:45 AM-3rd.AL-Hooksett, NH-7 Martins Ferry Rd. A 1.5 & 2 story wood frame house with 2 apartments with heavy fire, used exterior operations. Seven towns responded M/A, State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.

0463)9:05 PM-W/F-Kennebunk, ME-6 Duncan Dr. A 2-story 20X40 house with heavy fire showing from the 2nd floor on arrival, no extension to an attached garage. M/A responded from Arundel, Wells and Kennebunkport.

0462)PM-MVA-Surry, ME-Route 172. A 54 y/o male on a motorcycle tried passing a line of cars, when a truck at the front of the line started to turn the subject lost control and went into a skid for over 100 feet. He was taken by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor, where he died the next day.

0461)2:00 PM-MVA-Rochester, NH-Chestnut Hill Rd. A woman driving a car drove past a police officer at a construction site and crashed into a bucket of a backhoe, jaws were used to extricate the female. She was transported to the hospital with serious injuries.

0460)1:05 PM-ACW-Farmington, NH-168 Chestnut Hill Rd. A chimney fire in a residence extended to the structure, M/A responded from Milton.

0459)02:45 AM-W/F-Portland, ME-512 Cumberland Ave. Electrical fire in a 3-story apartment complex.

0458)2:00 PM-W/F-Rochester, NH-25 Main St. A fire in a 2nd floor bedroom in a 3-story house, the fire was mostly contained to the room. Firefighters had to rescue snakes, several lizards and chickens from the home. M/A air van responded from Somersworth.

0457)12:25 PM-MVA-Raymond, ME-Route 302 near Mains Pizza. Accident with entrapment, jaws used. M/A ALS units responded to assist, reported serious injuries.

0456)10:30 AM-W/F-Nashua, NH-96 Amherst St. Fire in the walls of a 1.5 story wood frame commercial structure, damage was determined to be minor.

0455)06:30 AM-2nd.AL-Hillsborough, NH-122 Old Henniker Rd. A fire in a commercial building, quickly knocked down. M/A responded to the fire.

0454)9:30 PM-MVA-New Sharon, ME-Route 41 & Whittier Rd. An elderly female drove through the intersection and the vehicle went into a pond, submerging the vehicle. She was killed in the crash, the accident is under investigation.

0453)01:55 AM-W/F-Windham, ME-Vance Dr off Route 302 @ D & J Excavating. A commercial building with heavy fire showing, fire destroyed half of the building before crews got the fire under control. M/A responded to the scene and for coverage.
