0357)6:35 PM-MVA-Westbrook, ME-Route 25 by Juniper Ln. Accident with entrapment, extrication team used jaws to remove a victim, unknown extent of injuries.

0356)12:40 AM-MVA-Belmont, ME-Route 131. An SUV struck a pole, then went down an enbankment and struck a tree, the male driver was taken by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor with serious injuries.

0355)04:05 AM-W/F-South Portland, ME-40 Pitt St. A structure fully involved on arrival, M/A engine responded from Cape Elizabeth.

0354)11:45 AM-MVA-Lee, NH-Route 155 & Route 152. A car was struck in the side by a SUV, with entrapment. Jaws used for extrication, a male passenger was transported with serious injuries, the driver of the car was also transported. A female driving the SUV was not injured, police reconstructed the scene.

0353)12:33 PM-2nd.AL-Springfield, NH-Four Corners Rd. A building fire, M/A responded from several towns.

0352)11:30 AM-MVA-Gouldsboro, ME-Route 1 near Guzzle Rd. . A car struck a pickup then a telephone pole, with entrapment. A female was extricated and then transported by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor, reported to be in critical condition.

0351)10:30 AM-HAZ/MAT INCIDENT-Exeter, NH-Exeter High School. At least 3 students were transported to the hospital and several were treated at the scene after some students mixed bleach, sodium hypochloride, and cobalt chloride. The school was evacuated and the rest of the students were taken to another building. M/A ambulances responded from North Hampton, Kingston, Stratham and Epping,

0350)02:15 AM-2nd.AL-Epping, NH-Route 125 @ Telly’s Restaurant and Pizzeria. Heavy fire destroyed a 1 story wood frame restaurant, believed to have started from an electric sign. Adjoining businesses were mostly spared due to a fire wall. M/A from Durham, Newmarket, Exeter, Brentwood, Raymond, Fremont and an air van from Stratham responded.

0349)01:00 AM-W/F-Gouldsboro, ME-Route 1 at the "Bear Necessities and Deli". A convenience store fully involved on arrival, M/A responded from Winter Harbor, Stueben and Sorrento. The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.

0348)12:52 AM-W/F-Rye, NH-252 Washington Rd. Fire in a 1.5 story 30X50 garage used as a shop, firefighters happened to be nearby at the time with downed wires and arrived quickly. M/A responded from Portsmouth, North Hampton, New Castle, Stratham, Kittery and Greenland, which provided station coverage.

0346)05:00 AM-3rd.AL-Kennebunk, ME-Nasons Corner just off Route 1 at the Blue Wave Mall. A 2-story wood frame building which housed several businesses, heavy fire showing on arrival. M/A responded from several towns.

0344)12:20 PM-MVA-Dover, NH-Indian Brook Dr. 2 vehicles involved with entrapment, jaws used. 3 women were transported to the hospital.

0343)12:00 PM-2nd.AL-Fairfield, ME-163 Skowhegan Rd (Rt. 201). A fully involved unoccupied 2-story farmhouse with an attached garage. M/A responded from Waterville and Winslow to the scene, Clinton for coverage.

0341)04:02 AM-2nd.AL-Laconia, NH-53 Plymouth St. A chair on fire in a 2.5 story apartment building extended to the walls and into the attic area, 1 male subject recieved minor burns trying to put out the fire. M/A responded from Meredith, Moultonboro, Holderness, Ashland and Sandwich.

0340)02:15 AM-MVA-Hudson, NH-Lawrence Rd & Dugout Rd. A pickup truck with 2 male occupants was involved in an accident after fleeing a police officer who had stopped the truck on a traffic violation, both occupatns were ejected from the truck. The driver was dead on the scene, the passenger was transported with serious injuries. The accident is under investigation.

0339)6:05 PM-W/F-Nashua, NH-30 Ash St. Heavy smoke showing on arrival in a 2-story wood frame apartment building, the fire was quickly knocked down and contained to 2 units.

0338)5:24 PM-2nd.AL-Westbrook, ME-1166 Methodist Rd. A 2-story wood frame dwelling, heavy fire in the basement extended the the 1st and 2nd floors. M/A responded to the scene and for coverage.

0337)2:35 PM-W/F-Scarborough, ME-16 Washington Ave @ RTS Packaging Co. Fire in the rear of a commercial building on arrival.

0336)4:00 PM-3rd.AL-Charlestown, NH-166 South Hemlock Road. 2.5 story wood frame home, heavy fire in the basement and 2nd floor on arrival. Exterior attacks only due to floors collapsing. M/A responded from Claremont, Langdon, Walpole and Springfield VT; coverage from Alstead.

0335)11:46 AM-MVA-Laconia, NH-Route 3/11 bypass. A cadillac crossed the center line and collided head-on into another car, both drivers were killed in the crash. The road was closed for several hours for reconstruction.

0334)10:00 AM-MVA-Hermon, ME-Route 2 west. A male subject lost control of his motorcycle and was thrown into a ditch after striking a snowbank. He was pronounced dead at EMMC in Bangor, the accident is under investigation.

0333)8:45 PM-2nd.AL-Auburn, ME-124 Newbury St. Fire in a 4-story 25X80 apartment building, heavy fire on 3rd & 4th floors and through the roof. Firefighters were pulled from the building for defensive operations, the roof collapsed into the building. M/A responded from several towns.

0332)3:00 PM-MVA-Lebanon, ME-Route 202. An SUV passing a pickup truck struck the truck, skidded in the shoulder and flipped over, ejecting the operator. 1 fatality on scene, the road was closed for reconstruction.

0331)11:23 AM-MVA-Rockland, ME-Old County Rd and Rankin St. Two cars collided head-on with entrapment. 3 persons injured, 2 with serious injuries. Jaws were used for extrication, Lifeflight responded to meet the ambulance at the hospital.

0330)06:53 AM-W/F-Wales, ME-Ridge Rd. Fire in a 2-story building, M/A responded.

0329)2:55 PM-2nd.AL-Allenstown, NH-Ferry St & Canal St @ the waste water treatment plant. A fire in a building with hazardous materials involved, area residents were evacutated due to possible leak of a disinfectant. M/A responded to the fire.

0327)1:10 PM-HAZ/MAT INCIDENT-Rochester, NH-Front St at the Boston Felt mill. A four to five thousand gallon spill of crude, “number 6” industrial oil occurred when there was some type of boiler malfunction. Rochester firefighters stood by until Department of Environmental Services arrived. The oil did not contaminate anything other than ground soil which will need to be removed.

0324)PM-W/F-Wiscasset, ME-Churchill Rd. A house fire, started from a fireplace. An elderly female was killed in the fire, her husband was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation.

0323)1:20 PM-W/F-Rockport, ME-690 Rockland St. Fire on the 1st and 2nd floors in the rear of a 2.5 story farmhouse with an attached 2-story barn, it started in an el between the house and barn and was contained to those areas. M/A responded from Camden and Rockland.

0322)11:45 AM-W/F-Limerick, ME-50 Leisure Ln. A garage fire, M/A responded from Waterboro.

0321)10:45 PM-2nd.AL-Sanford, ME-10 School St @ Paris Pizza & Allens Natural Foods. Fire at the rear of a 2-story 20X80 wood frame building on arrival, heavy fire extended to 2nd floor with eventual collapse of the structure. M/A responded from several towns to the scene and for coverage.

0320)10:35 PM-W/F-Poland, ME-Near 115 Tiger Hill Rd. A fully involved 12X24 house fire, a 42 y/o man died in the fire. M/A responded from Minot & New Gloucester to the scene. An explosive device was also located in the remains, it was detonated by the State Police bomb team. The fire is under investigation.

0319)11:30 AM-MVA-Sidney, ME-Drummond Rd. A speeding car left the road and struck some trees, 1 16 y/o male was killed in the collision, a 2nd 16 y/o male was transported by Lifeflight with serious injuries. The accident was reconstructed by the State Police. **Update, the 2nd teen male died at the hospital.

0318)09:00 AM-W/F-Guilford, ME-Off Route 15. A fire in a small barn was quickly knocked down by responding firefighters, the damage was mostly confined to the upper half of the barn. M/A responded to the scene from Sangerville and Dover-Foxcroft, with coverage responded from Monson.

0316)09:00 AM-W/F-Hill, NH-492 Borough St. A house that was apparently being demolished was destroyed by an illegal burn. M/A responded from Bristol and Franklin.

0315)04:27 AM-W/F-Greenbush, ME-647 Cardville Rd. Fire in Basement of a 2-story single family home. M/A responded from Milford, the damage was confined to the basement.

0313)12:25 AM-W/F-Auburn, ME-Court St near Western Ave. A fire in a 4-bay garage, M/A responded from Lewiston.

0312)6:25 PM-2nd.AL-Wolfeboro, NH-16 Birch Hill Estates. A 1-story garage well involved near a house, M/A responded from Tuftonboro, Ossipee Corner and West Ossipee.

0311)08:22 AM-W/F-Benton, ME-Gogan Rd. Fire started in a 2nd floor bedroom of a 2.5 story wood frame farmhouse, fire showing through the roof on arrival. A child sleeping in the bedroom was saved by her mother when a smoke detector alerted her to the fire. M/A responded from 4 towns.

0310)07:00 AM-MVA-Presque Isle, ME-Route 1. A car waiting to turn left into a parking lot was struck from behind by a tractor trailer, pushing it into a school bus headed in the opposite direction. The male driver of the car was extricated with hydraulic tools and transported to a local hospital, he was then flown by Lifeflight to a hospital in central Maine in serious condition. The driver of the truck and the 41 occupants on the bus were not injured.

0309)12:30 PM-W/F-Barnstead, NH-286 Parade Rd. A 14X70 mobile home with heavy fire showing, M/A responded from New Durham, Alton, Gilmanton, Pittsfield and Epsom.

0308)10:30 AM-MVA-Wakefield, NH-Route 16 south. A vehicle towing a trailer rolled over with entrapment, jaws were used to extricate a female driver. She was transported to Frisbie Hospital with serious injuries.

0306)12:20 PM-MVA-Merrimack, NH-Everett Turnpike. A car slid off the snow covered road and struck 2 trees. A female passenger was pronounced dead on the scene, a male operator was transported with non-life threatening injuries. The accident is under investigation.

0305)11:30 AM-ACW-Biddeford, ME-Route 111 at Home Depot. A large dumpster fire inside the store, a large commercial building. M/A engine from Saco responded.

0304)11:20 AM-W/F-Portland, ME-73 Munjoy South. A fire in the attic of a 2-story wood frame house.

0303)4:18 PM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Fairfield, ME-A trail off Covell Rd. A 15 y/o boy lost control of his snowmobile which left the trail and struck a tree. He was taken by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor after Fairfield firefighters got him out of the woods using a snowmobile and sled. Waterville FD covered the Fairfield station.

0302)10:35 AM-2nd.AL-Charlestown, NH-443 Old Claremont Rd. A 3000 sq. foot building fully involved, M/A responded to the fire.

0301)7:00 PM-W/F-Biddeford, ME-Lincoln St @ the Maine Energy Recovery Co. (MERC). An explosion and fire on the 2nd and 3rd floor of a large metal clad commercial building, an employee was injured in the explosion and transported to the hospital. An engine from Saco responded to the scene, Goodwins Mills, Kennebunkport, and Old Orchard Beach for coverage.

0300)6:45 AM-MVA-Hollis, ME-Bar Mills Rd (Route 202). 2 cars involved with entrapment, jaws used. 3 rescues responded to the accident.

0299)09:00 AM-2nd.AL-Pittsfield, NH-34 Main St. A fire in a 3-story wood frame apartment building, exposed to a 4-story building only 1-foot away. There was no extension, M/A responded from several towns.

0297)5:35 PM-W/F-Kingston, NH-64 Main St. A 20X20 horse barn fully involved, M/A responded.

0296)5:00 PM-MVA-Newport, NH-Route 10 south near Crows Nest Campground. A car struck a tree and the engine compartment was on fire, 3 persons in the car initially trapped but got out with assistance of a passerby. All 3 were transported, including 1 victim with serious injuries.

0295)09:30 AM-MVA-Durham, NH-Route 108 northbound. Two cars collided when 1 car lost control in icy conditions and struck the 2nd car. 2 persons were transported to the hospital, the female driver of the 1st car died at the hospital. The 2nd driver, a male subject, was treated for minor injuries.

0292)3:00 PM-3rd.AL-Rockport, ME-499 West St (Rte. 90). A 3-story out-building with fire on all three floors on arrival. The building was located about 6 feet behind a mobile home, which was saved with no extension. M/A responded to the fire.

0291)08:00 AM-W/F-Merrimack, NH-701 Daniel Webster Highway at the Saint-Gobain company. A fire which started in a teflon coating machine on the roof of the 110 foot building extended to vents. An engine from Bedford responded to the scene, Nashua and Amherst for cover.

0290)AM-W/F-Berlin, NH-Northern Lights Elderly Housing. A fire in 1 apartment in an elderly housing complex killed an elderly female, possibly caused by smoking. The fire did not extend beyond the apartment, M/A responded to the fire.

0289)2:15 PM-W/F-Laconia, NH-Blueberry Ln @ the Wingate Village Apartment complex. A fire on the 2nd floor of a 2-story apartment building, two bedrooms were heavily damaged. M/A responded to the fire.

0288)11:25 AM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Sebago, ME-Sebago Lake. A seriously injured person was transported by Lifeflight to the hospital.

0287)11:01 AM-W/F-Waterville, ME-West River Rd. Fire in a 1-story concession stand at the Webber soccer field.

0286)07:00 AM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Greenville, ME-Moosehead Lake near West Cove. A snowmobile struck a snowbank on the lake, the male operator was transported to the hospital where he was pronounced dead. The accident is under investigation.

0285)7:20 PM-W/F-Wakefield, NH-62 Summer St. A 1-story house fire, started in the kitchen area. M/A responded to the scene and for cover.

0284)3:05 PM-MVA-Scarborough, ME-I-95 (Maine Turnpike) just south of the Route 114 overpass. A vehicle rolled over in the median with entrapment, jaws and extrication team were used. A seriously injured subject was transproted to MMC in Portland.

0283)2:20 PM-W/F-Dixfield, ME-34 Hall Hill Rd @ Irving Forest Products Inc. A building fire at a lumber company, several towns responded M/A.

0282)02:00 AM-MVA-Nashua, NH-F.E.Everett Turnpike southbound near Exit 4. A car left the road, went over a snowbank and rolled over several times down a steep decline. One man was killed in the accident, which is under investigation.

0281)PM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Hopkinton, NH-Elm Brook Lake. A 42 y/o male struck 2 small trees on his snowmobile, then hit a couple of larger trees. He was transported to a Concord hospital where he died the next morning, the accident is under investigation.

0280)5:05 PM-3rd.AL-Weare, NH-52 Newman Wilson Rd. A building with heavy fire conditions, M/A responded from several towns.

0279)11:10 AM-W/F-Keene, NH-399 Hurricane Rd. A chimney fire in a house extended to partitions, M/A responded with tankers.

0278)05:45 AM-W/F+-Bangor, ME-83 Center St. Heavy fire on top floor and through the roof of a 2.5 story wood frame 4-unit apartment building, 2 occupants were rescued from the roof and 2 firefighters were treated for minor injuries. M/A responded to the fire.

0277)05:30 AM-4th.AL-Lyndeboro, NH-27 Glass Factory Rd. Heavy fire in an an attached barn, where 2 persons were living. Firefighters were able to keep the flames from spreading to the main house. The two occupants were transported with minor injuries. M/A responded to the fire from several towns.

0275)1:45 PM-3rd.AL-Bradford, NH-17 Massasecum Ave. A large wood frame garage which housed an auto repair shop was fully involved, it started from welding inside the garage. A couple of vehicles were also destroyed in the fire. M/A responded from Warner, Newbury, Sutton, New London, Hillsboro, Henniker, Hopkinton, Weare and Washington.

0273)1:25 PM-W/F-Washington, ME-Route 17 @ Vigue Brothers Automotive Repair. A 1-story commercial auto repair shop heavily involved on arrival. 1 worker was transported with injuries. Multiple towns responded M/A to the scene.

0272)PM-MVA-Londonderry, NH-Route 28. Two SUV's collided when one of them lost control in icy conditions, 1 person had to be extricated with jaws. 3 victims in the vehicles were taken to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

0271)02:00 AM-W/F-Newport, ME-Grove St. Heavy fire showing the 1st floor of a 2-story house on arrival, the fire quickly spread to the 2nd floor. The home was a total loss, M/A responded from Corinna, Pittsfield and Plymouth.
