0432)4:20 PM-MVA-Barrington, NH-Route 125 at the Winkley Pond Rd. Car crossed the median and struck a Jeep head-on, 1 10-45 code 1 on scene, 3 10-45's code 2 were transported to Frisbie Memorial Hospital in Rochester.

0431)1:51 PM-MVA-Lee, NH-Route 125 near the Epping town line. A car off the road struck a tree, female driver was transported to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital in Dover where she later died from her injuries.

0429)5:10 PM-MVA-Durham, NH-Route 4 eastbound. Jaws used to extricate trapped victim, unknown code.

0428)5:09 PM-MVA-Cornville, ME-Route 43 less than a mile from the Madison line. A 62 y/o female was struck and killed by a car while she was walking with her grand-daughter, who was transported with minor injuries. Lifeflight responded but did not transport. The female operator of the car was possibly blinded by the sun, State Police are investigating.

0427)2:05 PM-ATV MVA-Warren, ME-Mountain Rd. Male subject was thrown from his ATV into the roadway and was severely injured. M/A from Thomaston EMS and Lifeflight responded to the scene.

0426)11:55 AM-HAZMAT-Milford, NH-46 Amherst St. Natural gas leak with evacuations of area, M/A responded to assist.

0425)12:08 AM-MVA-Boscawen, NH-Route 4 near Colby Hill. Car left the road into trees, 1 10-45 code 1 on scene & 1 10-45 code 2 transported to Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center with serious injuries.

0418)5:17 PM-HAZMAT/FIRE-Nashua, NH-30 Royal Crest Dr. @ Royal Crest Apartments. A 34,000-volt transformer exploded and was fully engulfed when FD arrived, fire was quickly knocked down and a HAZMAT team was called in to contain and clean up the oil spilled from the transformer.

0412)6:50 PM-W/F-Ossipee, NH-147 Route 16B. Chimney fire extended to attic of a house, M/A responded to the scene and for cover.

Jaws used to extricate trapped occupant, Medflite transported 1 10-45 code 2 to Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center. A 2nd occupant, the driver, was transported with mnor injuries.

0407)12:30 PM-W/F-Springfield, NH-54 Fisher Corner Rd. Fire at the Lemphill Power Plant, heavy smoke showing from the rear and silo area of the building. M/A to the scene and for cover.

0406)09:25 AM-3rd.AL-Eliot, ME-58 1/2 Frost Hill Rd. A 2-story 24X40 barn fire, well involved. Several vehicles and farm equipment stored on the first floor were destroyed, nine towns responded M/A.

0383)12:00 PM-W/F-Hartland, ME-1274 Caanan Rd. A 2-story house well involved, was gutted. Corinna, St. Albans, Pittsfield, Canaan and Palmyra FD's responded M/A.

0382)11:45 AM-MVA-Farmingdale, ME-Maple St by Hall-Dale High School. Pickup struck a car, 1 10-45 code 2 flown by Lifeflight to CMMC in Lewiston. 3 passengers in the car were treated for minor injuries.

0381)06:45 AM-MVA-Cumberland, ME-264 Gray Rd (Rte 100). Car lost control on ice & snow and struck a van, 1 female 10-45 code 1 from the car. Driver of van was transported to the hospital.

0360)06:45 AM-MVA-Township 31, ME-Route 9 near Wesley. A Ford pickup crossed the center line and collided head-on with a tractor-trailer, the driver of the pickup was killed. State Police recontructed the scene.

0359)2:45 PM-WATER SEARCH-Laconia, NH-Off Weirs Beach at Lake Winnipesaukee. Intensive search for missing diver, a Laconia firefighter, who did not surface with his diving partner. Several divers and firefighters in the area responded to the search.
**On Monday, March 12, the body of Lt. Mark Miller, a 17-year veteran of the Laconia Fire Department, was recovered at about 13:30.

0347)8:45 PM-MVA-York, ME-I-95 (Maine Turnpike) south at mile 8. 2 vehicles involved head-on with 1 fatality and 1 10-45 code 2 trapped in vehicle, 2 sets of jaws used. Lifeflight transported to MMC in Portland, M/A Ogunquit with ambulance and heavy rescue. SP responded for reconstruction.

0346)8:20 PM-W/F-Concord, NH-9 Greenwood Ave. A dryer fire in a building extended.

0345)2:50 PM-ACW-Dayton, ME-37 Guay Ln. A lobster boat in a cul-de-sac on fire, fully involved on arrival. No exposures near the boat. M/A from Arundel for coverage.

0344)1:25 PM-W/F-Meredith, NH-329 Daniel Webster Hwy. Ceiling fire in a residence.

0343)10:00 AM-W/F-Bangor, ME-Hammond St. A large 4-story commercial brick building housing several businesses. Fire started from light ballast in the "Crow's Nest" on the 3rd floor. Firefighters quickly knocked down the fire in the 150 year-old building.

The barn was fully involved with extension to the 2nd & 3rd floors of the apartment building. MA from Claremont, Croydon, Goshen, Lempster, Sunapee, Newport Ambulance Crews, and the Red Cross.

0341)1:50 PM-MVA-Biddeford, ME-I-95 (ME Turnpike) south at mile 28. Vehicle rolled over into the woods, 2 persons trapped underneath. 2 10-45 code 2's (1 was trauma code) transported to hospital. Kennebunk FD assisted. Female later died at the hospital.

0338)6:00 PM-MVA-Fort Fairfield, ME-Route 1A near the Easton town line. A 2-car collision with 2 persons trapped in one car, jaws were used. Both were extricated from the car and transported to Aroostook Medical Center in Presque Isle. Easton FD assisted at the scene.

0337)5:50 PM-W/F-Pittsfield, NH-Joy St. An electrical fire extended to ceiling in an apartment building. M/A from Barnstead responded.

0331)11:12 AM-W/F-New Ipswich, NH-28 Kent St. An outbuilding fire, M/A from Greenville responded.

0330)06:48 AM-MVA-Camden, ME-Route 1 at Springbrook Hill. 2 vehicles collided head-on, a passenger was ejected from one vehicle. 1 10-45 code 2 was flown by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor. The 2 drivers were both transported to area hospitals.

0325)9:30 PM-W/F-Turner, ME-474 Plains Rd @ Leavitt Dairy Farm. A fully involved barn fire, some extension to a farmhouse but it was saved. About 3 dozen cows were killed and several pieces of farm equipment were destroyed. M/A responded from six towns.

0324)1:25 PM-W/F-Meredith, NH-Lang St & Stevens Ave. A 2-story 4-unit apartment building fire, M/A from Holderness, Center Harbor, Laconia and Moultonboro.

0323)04:00 AM-W/F-Bangor, ME-342 Union St. Heavy fire in the rear of a 2-story apartment building. 1 firefighter 10-45 code 3 was transported to the hospital.
