6/29 21:25 Conway, NH – 2 Alarm – 7 unit apartment building at 58 Washington Street, fire from second floor on arrival. Mutual aid from North Conway, Center Conway, Redstone and Madison. 12 tenants were displaced and getting help from the Red Cross.

6/28 12:50 Belmont, NH – 3 Alarm – Home on Gray Rocks Road. Area mutual aid. State Fire Marshall investigating.

6/28 South Berwick, ME – 2 Alarm – 79 Portland Street, Berwick Estates, 2.5 story nursing home. 34 occupants evacuated. Origin was a ceiling fan. Multiple mutual aid.

6/27 Rumford, ME – W/F – 13 Andover Rd, 2.5 story house, M/A requested.

6/27 20:19 Jaffrey, NH – 2 Alarm – 113 Hadley Road, fully involved dwelling with exposure problems. Area mutual aid plus 2 engines over 2nd alarm.

6/25 Wales, ME – W/F – 46 Ridge Road, fire in a saw mill. M/A requested.

6/24 19:00 Manchester, NH – W/F+ - 2 ½ story home, 96 Laurel St, Heavy fire on arrival. Attempted rescue of an infant unsuccessful due to fire conditions. Our prayers go out to all concerned.

6/22 14:40 Biddeford, ME W/F – One Story home, 31 Mile Stretch Road. Fire and smoke damage to kitchen area. Mutual Aid from Saco and Kennebunkport.

6/22 AM Garland, ME – W/F – Structure fire, 281 Parkman Road, multiple towns mutual aid.

6/22 06:00 Windham, ME – Smoke showing from a small fire in a business at 731 Roosevelt Trail. It was quickly extinguished.

6/22 01:00 Biddeford, ME – W/F – Six unit apartment building at 36 Emery Street, damaged by fire, six people displaced.

6/20 06:00 Portsmouth, NH – W/F – vacant house undergoing renovations, 180 Kearsage Way. Heavy fire damage to kitchen and basement.

6/19 17:38 Old Orchard Beach, ME – Maine Cleaners on Saco Ave, Heavy smoke showing on arrival from a dryer fire. Rapidly extinguished; overhaul and smoke ejection performed.

619 Farmington, NH – 2 Alarm – Vacant building, 12 Vachon Dr., M/A requested.

6/18 Wales, ME – W/F – 96 Andrews Rd., unknown type of structure, M/A requested.

6/18 Stratham, NH – 2 Alarm – Commercial building, 223 Portsmouth Ave., M/A requested.

6/17 11:00 Conway, NH – 2 Alarm – House fire 143 Bryant Road, heavy damage. Mutual aid from North Conway, Center Conway, Redstone and Madison.

6/16 Shapleigh, ME – W/F – 8 Heron Way, garage fully involved, M/A requested.

6/16 West Ossipee, NH 1st Alarm – 1895 Route 16, fire ia a multi unit building. M/A requested.

6/14 21:20 Saco, ME – W/F – Van parked at 23 Park Road spread to the home, destroying it and also did some damage to the home at 21 Park Rd. Mutual Aid from Alfred, Scarborough, Buxton, Biddeford, Kennebunk Rescue covered Biddeford.

6/14 16:00 Gilford, NH – Small plane crashes on the Margate Resort Inn shortly after from Laconia airport, killing the pilot, a South Portland man, the only occupant. No one on the ground was injured, due in large part to the actions of the pilot. Gilford FD units secured fuel and electrical hazards.

6/13 17:30 Deer Isle, ME – W/F – Home destroyed, 225 Dunham’s Point Road. Mutual Aid from 6 departments, but fully involved on arrival.

6/12 Afternoon Winn, ME – W/F – 123 year old farm house, kitchen fire extends and destroys house. Mutual aid from Mattawamkeag, Lincoln, Lee and Medway.

6/11 18:00 Veazie, ME – W/F – Dwelling at 1013 May Street, fully involved on arrival. Mutual aid from several surrounding towns.

6/11 L.O.D.D. FF Paramedic Debra Cole of the South Portland, Me. Fire Dept, also call member for Goodwins Mills Fire Dept. May she rest in peace.

6/11 15:57 Damariscotta, ME – Electrical and grease fire at McDonald’s on Main Street. Mutual aid from Newcastle. One employee transported for smoke inhalation.

6/10 19:15 Harrison, ME – MVA with entrapment and fire, Edes Falls Road. Mutual aid from Naples. Victim extricated by passers-bys, one of whom was transported to the hospital. Victim succumbed at the scene.

6/9 17:00 Orono, ME – 18 unit apartment building, 6 Bennoch Road, fully engulfed on arrival. Attack was complicated by years of renovations and reconfigurations. Mutual aid from Bangor, Veazie and Old Town.

6/9 09:46 New Market, NH – 3 Alarm – House fire, 62 Grant Street. Mutual Aid requested.

6/8 20:00 Westbrook, ME – W/F – Dwelling on Lewis Street. Porch fire extended into house. Elderly resident rescued by neighbors prior to FD arrival.

6/8 05:20 Pittsfield, NH – 3 Alarm – Four unit apartment building, 36 Main Street with heavy fire showing from the second floor on arrival. Two occupants perished on the second floor.

6/7 Early Morning Sutton, NH – 200 year old farm house, fully involved on arrival, destroyed. The barn was saved and the occupant escaped unharmed.

6/6 22:00 Wilmot, NH – 2 Alarm – Dining hall at Camp Kenwood . An under construction exposure 100 feet away had minor damage. Mutual aid from five towns.

6/6 06:00 Portland, ME – 2 Alarm – Apartment building, 64 Ilsely Street, first floor apartment engulfed upon arrival with extension to upper floors. Occupant escaped through a window.

6/6 Berlin, NH 02:30 3 Alarm – Vacant three story apartment building at 360 High Street. Side porches fully involved on arrival extending to all floors in the rear with interior collapse. Extension to adjacent garage and building, forcing evacuation of the near by apartment.

6/5 14:15 North Berwick, ME – 3 Alarm – Town Pizza on Main Street, second floor bathroom fire with smoke showing on arrival, caused major damage to the restaurant. The fire was contained to the front part of the building, but the restaurant sustained significant water damage.

6/3 19:28 Manchester, NH – W/F – Well involved 40 or 5 stall garage, 275 Uniion Street. Additional pump to scene.

6/3 01:00 Vassalboro, ME – 3 Alarm – Grand View Coffee Shop, known for it’s topless wait staff, was heavily involved on arrival and was destroyed. Incident is under investigation by the State Fire Marshall.
