6/30 evening Bar Harbor, ME – Route 3, Mount Desert Oceanarium, lobster museum building. Heavy fire on arrival. When conditions deteriorated, the attack went defensive and many artifacts were destroyed. Exposures were successfully protected. Mutual aid form Trenton and Mount Desert.

6/26 21:05 Sanford, ME – 122 Sand Pond Road, dwelling severely damaged by fire. Mutual aid: Wells, Kennebunk, N. Berwick, Alfred, Acton, Lebanon, with others covering in the area. Water supply was a major portion of the operation. One firefighter transported with minor injuries.

6/25 01:45 Auburn, ME – Turner Street, Gammon Landscaping Nursery, barn fire due to lightning. Barn and two tractors inside destroyed. Mutual aid from Turner, Minot, Poland and Lewiston. Other exposures were protected.

6/24 16:46 Old Orchard Beach, ME – 75 Milliken Mills Rd, garage fire in a one story residential. Quick knock down.

6/23 19:00 Worcester, MA – 2 Alarm – 58 Shrewsbury Street, Three story, apartments over businesses ,third floor apartment fire with a quick stop prevented extension to attic and extension through the long building.

6/21 00:05 Madison, NH – 3 Alarm – 192 Mooney Hill Road, two barns fully engulfed on arrival, were destroyed. Water supply was a major issue with a tanker shuttle and 2/3 of a mile of 4” stretched. Investigators are calling it suspicious.

6/20 afternoon Haverhill, MA – 3 Alarm – 65 Howard Street, large 3 story wood frame with fire on upper floors and attic. Multiple rescues on arrival with reversion to defensive operations. Lawrence and Georgetown mutual aid.

6/13 16:08 West Lebanon, NH – 2 Alarm - 91 Trues Brook Road, dwelling fire. Heavily involved upon arrival with immediate second alarm to provide water supply. The home was under renovation due to winter storm roof collapse.

6/12 morning Bradley, ME – 12 Pine Street, apartment building fire. The building is considered a total loss. Mutual aid from Milford, Old Town and Eddington.

6/8 21:40 Tamworth, NH – 318 Pease Hill Road, Fully involved 20x30 Single Story wood frame summer home with extension to the woods. West Ossippee & Madison to the scene and Madison unit to cover.

6/6 16:00 Searsport, ME – Irving Terminal, fire inside a heating oil storage tank. The incident occurred during routine maintenance. No one was injured. Mutual aid from several communities.

6/6 01:21 Portland, ME – 52 Federal Street, three story apartment building. Fire on third floor porch on arrival extending into the third floor and attic.

6/6 01:17 Brunswick, ME – 2 Alarm – 7 Middle Street, Unitarian Universalist church. Fire involved two floors at the rear on arrival and spread through the attic and roof toward the front of the building, doing major damage. Mutual aid from Topsham, Bath, West Bath, and Freeport responded. Fire Marshall’s investigation shows the origin as a faulty light switch. Some important items were saved from the church built in the early 1800s.

6/5 12:45 Sanford, ME – 214 Main Street, Springvale, mobile home destroyed. Alfred, Wells, Lebanon, Shapleigh and N. Berwick assisted at the scene and coverage.

6/5 Fryeburg, ME – 460 Halleytown Road, mobile home destroyed by a fire that started behind a wood stove.

6/4 05:00 New Gloucester, ME – 200 Sabbathday Road, unoccupied home fully involved upon arrival. Two large propane tanks vented and were also involved, but were successfully cooled and moved away from structure. Two departments on mutual aid, and a tanker shuttle was used.

6/4 02:24 Manchester, NH – 366 Lake Ave, outside fire extended to a garage with apartment above and a three unit apartment building. MFD determined it was an arson fire.

6/4 01:00 Limington, ME – 14 Mountain View Road fire on the porch of a 3 bay garage spread to the structure which has living quarters above. Occupants escaped safely and the fire is under investigation by the Fire Marshall’s Office.

6/3 19:00 Hampton Falls, NH – 165 Drinkwater Road, barn fully involved upon arrival also destroyed an attached garage. The house, some 70 feet away was protected. Nine towns mutual aid.

6/3 20:30 Lewiston, ME – 2 Alarm – LA Auto on Sabattus Street, explosion and fire. One garage bay had heavy damage. Lewiston and Auburn responded.

6/1 08:00 Sandown, NH – Alexis Road, house fire from lightning strike. Portion of roof burned off. Powerful storm passing through the area.

6/1 morning Keene, NH – 2 Alarm – 25 Rule Street, two story home. Second floor team escaped via alternate route after both floors “lit up”, while first floor team exited via entry route, just as primary search was complete. The home suffered significant damage.
