0700)02:59 AM-W/F+-Bangor, ME-200 Sidney St. Heavy fire in a 2-story 4-unit apartment bulding, one occupant was transported to the hospital for smoke inhalation. The fire extended into the attic and burned through the roof, there was heavy damage to the structure.

0699)4:50 PM-MVA-Poland, ME-Route 11 & White Oak Hill Rd. Three vehicles involved in a collision with entrapment, jaws used. Reported 4 persons injured, unknown extent.

0698)09:00 AM-MVA-Hallowell, ME-I-95 northbound. A car crashed into the rear of a tractor which slowed down on the highway, a tractor-trailer following the car ran up onto the car, crushing it and trapping the female driver. Jaws were used for a lengthy extrication, the female was transported by Lifeflight helocopter in critical condition. She died a couple days later at the hospital.

0697)08:47 AM-MVA-Pittston, ME-Route 194 & Peaslee Rd. 2 cars collided at the intersection, 2 persons with serious injuries were transported by Lifeflight helicopter to CMMC in Lewiston. A 4 y/o girl was transported by ambulance to the hospital.

0696)6:30 PM-3rd.AL-Deering, NH-427 Barns Rd. A house with heavy fire conditions, the building was destroyed. Several towns responded M/A tankers to the scene and for coverage.

0695)1:10 PM-MVA-Tamworth, NH-Route 16. A minivan collided with a car with heavy damage and 6 persons injured, two sets of jaws were used to extricate all the occupants in both vehicles. Two Dhart helos responded to the scene to transport 3 persons with serious injuries, 3 other injured victims were also transported. M/A responded from Conway, Madison and West Ossipee.

0694)08:00 AM-MVA-Madison, ME-Route 201. A Dodge Intrepid collided with a tractor trailer truck, (the truck was hauling wreckage from the accident in Moscow,ME on Wednesday). Jaws were used to extricate the female driver from the car, she sufferred a broken leg and her 7 y/o daughter in the rear seat had minor injuries. The driver of the truck was not injured.

0690)8:00 PM-W/F-Greenland, NH-9 Rolston Ave. A fire started by lightning in a house spread through the 2nd floor. M/A responded from Portsmouth, Newington, and Pease Tradeport.

0689)6:15 PM-W/F-Saco, ME-Boom Rd just off Route 5. A 30X40 barn fire, struck by lightning. Fire through the roof, M/A responded from Biddeford & Goodwins Mills.

0688)08:00 AM-MVA-Moscow, ME-Route 201. A tractor trailer lost control on a curve, rolled over a guardrail, and slid down a ditch for over 300 feet. The driver was trapped and extrication tools were used, he was then taken by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor. Rescue crews from Bingham, The Forks and EMS of Skowhegan responded to the accident.

0687)10:00 PM-MVA-Charlestown, NH-Route 12. A motorcycle collided with a SUV, the 19 y/o male driver of the motorcycle was killed and a female passenger was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. She later died at the hospital. The accident is under investigation.

0686)10:00 PM-MVA-Hudson, NH-Route 111 on the Merrimack River bridge. A 47 y/o male died in a motorcycle accident, which is under investigation.

0685)7:50 PM-MVA-Milford, NH-58 Elm St. 2 cars involved with entrapment, jaws used. A M/A ambulance responded to the scene.

0684)1:40 PM-MVA-Boscawen, NH-North Water St. A Ford Explorer left the roadway, down a small ravine and struck 2 trees. The driver of the SUV, a 20 y/o male, was killed in the accident.

0679)10:55 AM-2nd.AL-Nashua, NH-Cabernet Court. Heavy fire in a 2-story occupied wood frame building, quickly knocked down. A 46 y/o woman died in the fire, investigators found she may have started the fire herself to commit suicide.

0678)07:10 AM-MVA-Rumford, NH-Route 108. A car left the road and struck a pole and then a house, a 26 y/o male passenger was killed in the collision. The male driver was taken by Lifeflight to a Lewiston hospital. The accident is under investigation.

0675)4:37 PM-2nd.AL-Portland, ME-377 Fore St at the Siempre Mas Restaurant. A fire started in a basement bathroom and extended to Bull Feeney's pub next door. A second fire, which may have been caused from a stove fire when everyone was evacuated, extended into ductwork and to the roof.

0674)Approxamately 01:00 AM-Multi-Alarm-Calais, ME-Calais Ave at the Immaculate Conception Church. Lightning struck a steel cross on top of the church, causing heavy fire throughout the building and extended into an attached rectory. Numerous departments responded from Washington County and from New Brunswick, Canada. (Calais firefighters were still at the previous fire just down the street.)

0650)4:00 PM-ATV ACCIDENT-Knox, ME-Abbot Rd. A 9 y/o boy was killed when he swerved to get out of the way of a dump truck, then fell off the ATV which went into a ditch. the truck then ran over the boy. The accident is under investigation.

0617)12:00 PM-MVA-Eddington, ME-Route 178. An 83 y/o man had stopped on the side of the road to pick up a couple of appliances and was struck by a car, he was killed in the collision. The accident is under investigation.

0616)10:30 AM-MVA-Cumberland, ME-I-295 south near Tuttle Rd. An SUV rolled over several when operating in the median of the highway and struck an elevated crossover, a 33 y/o male was killed in the collision. State Police are investigating the accident.

0614)11:15 PM-MVA-Hampstead, NH-Central St & Country Rd. A motorcycle being chased by police left the road and struck a stone wall and some trees. The male operator was killed, the accident is under investigation.

0613)7:00 PM-MVA-Buxton, ME-Long Plains Rd near Elwell Farms Housing. A pickup truck left the road and struck a tree, a lone male occupant in the truck was killed in the collision.

0612)08:45 AM-MVA-Topsham, ME-I-295 Mile 33 South. A school bus carrying children from a camp swerved into the breakdown lane, overcorrected when pulling back into the travel lane and rolled on its side. 46 juveniles, 5 counselors and the driver were transported to five hospitals, most with minor injuries. 1 juvenile was flown by Lifeflight to MMC in Portland. Sixteen rescues responded to the scene from several departments.

0611)5:00 PM-MVA-Berwick, ME-52 Hubbard Rd. Vehicle rolled over with entrapment, jaws used for extrication. 1 person was transported to Wentworth Douglas Hospital with life threatening injuries, he was later flown by helicopter to MMC in Portland.

0610)PM-PLANE CRASH-New London, NH-Lake Sunapee Country Club near the Eagle's Nest airstrip. A single male died when his ultralight plane crashed shortly after take-off. The FAA is investigating the accident.

0609)1:20 PM-MVA-Belmont, NH-Route 106. Accident with entrapment, jaws used for extrication.

0608)12:00 PM-MVA-Augusta, ME-Weeks Mills Rd. A truck and a van collided, 1 person was killed and 4 others were injured, unknown extent of injuries. The accident is under investigation.

0603)1:30 PM-MVA-Danbury, NH-Route 4. An SUV lost control, left the road and struck a tree head-on. The female driver was trapped and jaws were being used to extricate her when she died. A young girl was seriously injured, Dhart responded to transport her. Two other passengers with minor injuries were taken by ambulance to the hospital. M/A assistance responded from Wilmot, Bristol, & New London.
