0853)3:15 PM-HAZMAT-Dover, NH-Industrial Park Dr @ Bennett Footware Group. A forklift accidentally broke a 1.5 inch natural gas pipe, forcing the evacuation of area businesses. Firefighters ventilated the building and stopped the leak in about 30 mins.

0852)11:40 AM-MVA-New Hampton, NH-I-93 southbound. A car left the highway and rolled over with entrapment, jaws used to extricate 1 10-45 code 2, who was transported to the hospital where he died. Sanbornton & Franklin responded M/A.

0851)04:15 AM-W/F-Turner, ME-2046 Auburn Rd (Route 4). A structure fire, M/A responded.

0850)03:00 AM-W/F-Westbrook, ME-Lincoln St @ River Meadow Golf Course. A maintenance barn fully involved and collapsing on arrival, the fire destroyed a large amount of equipment. M/A for coverage responded.

0849)2:15 PM-MVA-North Hampton, NH-I-93 southbound. An Isuzu pulling a camper-trailer lost control and struck a Dodge Durango, both vehicles lost control and left the road, the Isuzu rolled over. 1 10-45 code 2 was transported by Medflight, 2 other 10-45's code 2 were transported by ground.

0848)11:55 AM-MVA-Hooksett, NH-Bypass 28 of Londonderry Turnpike. A dump truck left the road, possibly due to medical emergency of the driver, struck an unoccupied van, and then crashed into a tree which fell over, knocking down live wires into the trees and starting a small fire. Bystanders pulled the driver out of the truck and CPR was performed by rescue workers prior to taking him to the hospital, where he is in critical condition. SP reconstruction responded.

0834)07:46 AM-MVA / HAZMAT-Weare, NH-Rockland Rd & River Rd. A truck carrying ammonium nitrate rolled over, trapping the driver and spilling a small amount of the load. Jaws were used for extrication and a HAZMAT team responded, it took nearly 11 hours for the cleanup operation. M/A assisted from Goffstown, Bow, Hopkinton and Deering.

0830)08:40 AM-HAZMAT-Nashua, NH-Clement St and Taft St. Public Works crew struck an unmarked natural gas main pipe, rupturing it. The leak caused area homes to be evacuated and the HAZMAT Team responded to the scene until the gas could be shut off.

0829)03:10 AM-W/F-Skowhegan, ME-Butler St. A mobile home fully involved, the home was destroyed.

A 2-story 40x120 Wood frame warehouse heavily involved on arrival, severe exposure problems, fire extended to a nearby storage building and a sailboat and damaged several vehicles including a Rockland fire engine. 0813)PM-MVA-The Forks, ME-Route 201 between The Forks & Caratunk. A Federal Express van passing a car lost control, struck the car which struck 3 trees and rolled over, then the van went over an enbankment. The van landed upside down, pinning the driver who was killed on impact, jaws were used for extrication. The driver of the car had minor injuries.

0812)11:00 AM-PLANE CRASH-Fryeburg, ME-Saco River near the Indian River Campground. A small plane landed upside down in the river after the engine lost power, the pilot (who was the only occupant) managed to crawl out of the plane and was helped by nearby canoeists to safety. The FAA responded to investigate.

0811)AM-W/F-Charleston, ME-Route 15. A house fire, M/A responded from Bradford, Corinth, & Garland.

0810)03:20 AM-MVA-Standish, ME-Oak Hill Rd. A vehicle left the road, struck several trees and a house, with entrapment. Jaws used to extricate 1 female.

0809)02:00 AM-MVA-Windham, NH-I-93. A male subject was struck by a pickup truck while running across the highway, he was 10-45 code 1 on scene.

0807)6:00 PM-MVA-Laconia, NH-343 Court St. Jaws used to extricate trapped victim.

0806)12:10 PM-MVA-New Gloucester, ME-Route 100 between Mayall Rd & Upper Gloucester Rd. A propane tanker struck a minivan, both vehicles rolled over with no injuries. There was 9000 gallons of propane in the tanker, the Cumberland County Hazmat team was called, along with several towns M/A for precaution. Homes in a radius of 1 mile were evacuated, there was no leak and the propane was off-loaded.

0805)06:00 AM-W/F-Hampton Falls, NH-162 Kensington Rd. A barn fire, most of the animals inside were saved by a person who stopped in to feed them. The barn was destroyed.

0793)7:05 PM-MVA-Augusta, ME-Western Ave. A motorcycle with a single occupant lost control and crashed onto a pile of rocks. A 73 y/o male was given CPR but died, it is unknown if he suffered from a medical problem prior to the crash. The accident is under investigation.

0792)12:15 PM-MVA-South China, ME-Route 3 & Windsor Rd. A car passing a t/t unit left the road, possibly after bumping the truck, and struck a tree. 1 10-45 code 2 was taken by Lifeflight to CMMC in Lewiston, 2 other 10-45's were transported to an Augusta hospital.

0791)07:45 AM-W/F-Dexter, ME-Liberty St. A 2-story house fire, firefighters rescued a baby from its' crib on the 2nd floor. 3 other occupants were able to crawl out onto the roof. The infant and a male subject were transported with smoke inhalation. M/A responded from Corinna and Dover-Foxcroft.

0767)PM-MVA-Grand Isle, ME-Route 1 @ the Van Buren line. A 3-wheeled motorcycle was struck by a moose crossing the road, the rider was ejected instantly, 1 10-45 code 1 on scene.

0766)5:15 PM-PLANE CRASH-Jaffrey, NH-Near Silver Ranch Airport. A single-engine Piper Cub crashed just after take off in a wooded area about 200 yards from the airport. The pilot, who was the only occupant, was seriously injured.

0765)07:30 AM-W/F-Old Orchard Beach, ME-6 School St @ "Centennial Place". Fire in 1 apartment in a retirement complex. Fire was quickly knocked down and was contained to the unit, M/A responded from Scarborough.

0762)3:15 PM-PLANE CRASH-Warner, NH-Kearsarge Mountain. A single-engine pontoon plane crashed into the mountain, 1 occupant was killed, a second was seriously injured. It took rescuers 4 hours to reach the craash site. Several different agencies were involved in the search and rescue.

0740)4:30 PM-W/F-Randolph, ME-9 Pleasant St. A house with heavy fire, M/A responded.

0739)3:05 PM-MVA-Derry, NH-Route 28. Male subject operating a motorcycle was traveling north in the southbound land and collided head-on with a volkswagon, then collided with a jeep. The operator was transported to Parkland Medical Center where he was declared dead on arrival. Accident is under investigation.

0738)2:35 PM-2nd.AL-Westbrook, ME-51 Rochester St. A 2.5 story wood frame 2-family home with fire showing from 2nd floor on arrival. Fire started on 1st floor and extended, M/A responded.
