0161)9:00 PM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Pittsburg, NH-First Connecticut Lake. A female walking on the frozen lake was struck and killed by a snowmobile, the male operator was taken Upper Connecticut Valley Hospital in Colebrook and later airlifted to the Dartmouth-Hitchcock Medical Center. On Sunday he died from his injuries, the accident is under investigation.

0160)PM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Hartland, ME-Sebasticook River near Great Moose Lake. A snowmobile went through the ice on the river and was later discovered by passerbys. On Monday, 1/31/05, a Maine Warden dive team assisted by the Hartland FD recovered the body of the male operator.

0145)PM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Township 14 Range 4, ME-Interstate trail 96 two miles west of Sinclair in Aroostook County. A snowmobile left the trail and crashed into some trees, the operator was killed in the collision. State Wardens are investigating the accident.

0144)8:00 PM-GENERAL ALM-Claremont, NH-53 Trasher Road. A 1.5 story house with heavy fire on the second floor and in the walls. The General Alarm brought most of Claremont's equipment and manpower to the scene, M/A coverage from Cornish.

0142)11:00 AM-MVA-Sebec, ME-Milo Rd. A car was struck by a log truck, the driver of the car, a 17 y/o male, was killed in the collision. The accident is under investigation.

0141)08:34 AM-MVA-Rochester, NH-Route 125 by Jonathan Ln. A pickup swerved into the opposite land and struck a Buick head-on, then a Volkswagon sedan struck the rear of the Buick, trapping a female. Jaws were used to extricate her, the roof and doors had to be removed. She was transported to Frisbee Hospital with serious injuries, the other drivers were not injured.

0053)11:50 PM-MVA-Windham, ME-Pope Rd & Cajun Court Rd. A subject was standing behind his stalled plow truck at the intersection when another vehicle struck the truck, forcing it into a ditch and landed on top of him. He died from his injuries.

0052)11:00 PM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Moultonboro, NH-Near 25 Blueberry Ln on Lake Winnipesaukee. A snowmobile went through thin ice with 2 occupants, one got out of the water and was treated for hypothermia. The 2nd victim was missing all night, Fish & Game divers were called and located his body in about 10 feet of water just before noon on Sunday. West Ossipee FD responded with an air boat.

0050)2:40 PM-2nd.AL-Eliot, ME-35 Heritage Way in Imperial Marshwood Estates. A 14X70 mobile home with heavy fire, An elderly female was transported with minor burns on her face & back. M/A responded from South Berwick, Kittery, Kittery Point, York, Somersworth, Rollinsford, and the Portsmouth Naval Shipyard.

0049)1:20 PM-MVA-Scarborough, ME-County Rd (Route 22) at the Gorham line. Vehicle in the ditch with entrapment of 2 seriously injured victims, jaws used. a 3rd person had minor injuries. M/A responded from Gorham.

0048)11:19 AM-MVA-Westmoreland, NH-Route 12 near the Lighthouse Restaurant. An Army truck crossed into the opposite lane, striking a pickup truck and then a fuel truck. The driver of the fuel truck was trapped and critically injured, jaws were used and he later died from his injuries. The driver and 1 occupant of the Army truck had minor injuries, and the driver of the pickup was not injured. M/A responded from Keene.

0047)11:00 AM-W/F-Dover, NH-6 Tanglewood Dr. A grease fire extended to the ceiling and into the attic of a house, 1 male sufferred second degree burns on his right hand and arm and was taken to Wentworth-Douglas Hospital.

0046)09:50 AM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Conway, NH-Unknown location. A Massachusetts man crashed his snowmobile into a tree, 1 10-45 code 1. Police and the Department of Fish & Game are investigating the accident.

0045)08:00 AM-ATV ACCIDENT-Westbrook, ME-Saco St. A man missing since Friday night was located in a field near his home, he had struck a patch of ice with his ATV and rolled over, the 4-wheeler landing on top on him. He was killed in the accident, ME Warden Service was called to investigate.

0044)03:30 AM-W/F-Lincoln, ME-383 Half Township Rd. Heavy fire in the 2nd floor and attic of a 140 year old 2.5 story farmhouse, the building was destroyed. M/A responded from Lee and Mattawamkeag, investigators from the State Fire Marshals Office are attempting to determine a cause.

0038)2:40 PM-MVA-Liberty, ME-Route 3. A van crossed the center line and collided with a tractor trailer head-on, the driver of the van was killed. The driver of the trailer truck was transported with minor injuries.

0037)10:30 AM-HAZMAT INCIDENT-Hampton, NH-Ashworth Ave in Hampton Beach. A contractor ruptured a gas line, igniting a ball of fire and forcing the evacuation of the area. Firefighters sprayed down the area until the gas company could get the leak under control.

0036)10:17 AM-MVA-Rockland, ME-Near 60 Camden St by McDonald's. Two vehicles collided, 1 patient was taken by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor with serious injuries.

0035)08:00 AM-MVA-Epping, NH-Route 125. A pickup lost control on ice and crossed into the other lane, striking an on-coming Saturn and then a Ford Explorer. The driver of the car was trapped and had to be extricated with jaws, he was transported to the hospital with serious injuries. The other 2 drivers were also transported with minor injuries, M/A responded from Durham & Raymond.

0034)7:50 PM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Nobleboro, ME-East Pond Rd. A snowmobile struck a utility pole, the operator was killed in the collision. The accident is under investigation by Lincoln County Sheriff's Dept.

0033)2:30 PM-W/F-Lewiston, ME-152 Lisbon St @ the FISC building. Fire damaged 2 rooms on the 2nd floor of an office building, which houses a check-processing company. Sprinklers kept the fire contained until firefighters could extinguish it.

0032)09:32 AM-MVA-New Boston, NH-Route 114 southbound. 2 vehicles crashed head-on, 2 persons were transported. A female driver was pronounced dead at the Eliot Hospital.

0031)08:30 AM-W/F-Benton, ME-Hanscom Rd. A mobile home fire, 1 male 10-45 code 3 from smoke inhalation. Firefighters from Fairfield, Winslow and Albion assisted in fighting the blaze.

0030)07:45 AM-MVA-Portsmouth, NH-I-95 southbound by Exit 7. An SUV flipped over a guardrail in icy conditions and crashed into a pole, with entrapment. Jaws were used to try to extricate 1 male who died from the collision. SP is investigating the accident.

0029)07:30 AM-MVA-Bow, NH-Route 3A by Camerota Truck Parts. A car swerved in front of a tractor trailer and was struck head-on, with entrapment. 1 10-45 code 2 was extricated with jaws and transported in serious condition. The driver of the truck was not injured.

0028)07:00 AM-MVA-Conway, NH-North-South Rd about a mile south of Artist Falls Rd. 2 vehicles head-on with entrapment, jaws were used. 1 10-45 code 1 and 2 10-45's code 2.

0019)AM-MVA-Manchester, ME-Route 17. A station wagon struck a tree and rolled over with entrapment, jaws used. 1 female was transported with a possible back injury.

0018)AM-FATAL MVA-Littleton, NH-I-93 Exit 42 @ the Continental 93 Motel. A small car was recovered by firefighters in the pond at the rear of the hotel. They chopped through several inches of ice and descovered a body in the vehicle. The victim possibly drove into the pond inadvertantly during the night.
