0270)11:42 PM-W/F-Caribou, ME-Albair Rd. A large barn used to store 11,000 barrels of potatoes fully involved, firefighters were able to save a nearby house. M/A from Presque Isle & Loring responded.

0269)7:15 PM-W/F-Somesville, ME-Main St. Two rooms in a large summer home were heavily damaged by fire, a 51 y/o male caretaker died from smoke inhalation when he went to the 2nd floor to investigate. Firefighters rescued him from the building but he died enroute to the hospital. M/A responded to the fire.

0268)7:05 PM-W/F-Old Orchard Beach, ME-59 Fern Park Ave. A 1-story wood frame ranch, heavy smoke showing on arrival. 1 female was removed from the building and transported in critical condition with smoke inhalation. M/A from Scarborough, Saco, and Biddeford Squad responded.

0267)2:05 PM-MVA-Westbrook, ME-Larrabee Rd by NAPA Auto Parts. A car struck a pole with entrapment, jaws used for extrication.

0266)11:08 PM-W/F-Windsor, ME-15 Beehive Rd. An attached barn extended to a house, both were well involved on arrival. A man and his wife were home at the time and she had to be rescued from the 2nd floor. They were both transported to the hospital, the woman died while enroute. M/A responded from several towns, the State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.

0261)2:57 PM-MVA-New Sharon, ME-Route 2. Two cars collided head-on, jaws were used for extrication. A male and female couple with serious injuries from one of the cars were transported to CMMC in Lewiston by Lifeflight, a female in the other car was taken to Franklin Memorial Hospital.

0248)8:25 PM-3rd.AL-North Berwick, ME-50 Elm St. Fire on the 2nd floor of a 2-story 30X60 wood frame, the fire extended through the roof. 1 person was transported for smoke inhalation. An apartment on the 2nd floor was destroyed and 3 businesses on the 1st floor were damaged. M/A responded from Berwick, South Berwick, Wells, Sanford, Somersworth NH & Rollinsford NH.

0247)6:45 PM-2nd.AL-Laconia, NH-85 Plantation Rd. A chimney fire extended to the attic of a 3-bedroom ranch style house. M/A responded from Gilford.

0246)5:50 PM-W/F-Starks, ME-River Rd. A mobile home fire, the structure was destroyed in the blaze. M/A responded to the fire from Anson, Madison and East Madison.

0245)PM-W/F-Dover-Corinna, ME-Paradise Ave. A snowmobile fire in a garage extended to the structure, an occupant was alerted when the fire shorted an electrical wire which triggered his doorbell. M/A responded from Dexter & Newport.

0244)4:05 PM-W/F-Canterbury, NH-Clough Pond Rd. A structure fire, quickly knocked down.

0243)2:55 PM-W/F-Bennington, NH-Route 202 @ Monadnock Mill. A flareup of residual propane gas from a 40,000 gallon tank was quickly knocked down by responding units, who stayed on scene until the gas company arrived to drain the tank. M/A responded from Antrim, Deering, Francestown, Greenfield, Hancock, Hillsborough and Peterborough. 1 worker was transported with 2nd & 3rd degree burns.

0237)6:45 PM-MVA-Londonderry, NH-High Range Rd near Shasta Dr. A jeep wrangler and a Chevy Tahoe collided, ejecting a 16 y/o male from the jeep. He was dead on the scene, the 4 remaining occupants were transported with non-life threatening injuries. Police reconstruction team responded to investigate.

0233)10:05 AM-MVA-Cumberland, ME-I-295 by mile 12. A tractor trailer struck a compact car with 2 persons trapped in the car, jaws used.

0228)07:20 AM-MVA-Hudson, NH-Route 111 near Lawrence Rd. Two vehicles collided head-on with entrapment, jaws used to extricate 1 victim. Lifeflight responded to transport a female with serious injuries, 3 others were transported to the hospital. A reconstruction team responded to investigate.

0227)06:52 AM-W/F-Skowhegan, ME-Tower Rd. A kitchen well involved in a 1.5 story saltbox-style house, the fire was mostly contained to the kitchen. 5 dogs and 2 cats were rescued by firefighters, who gave one of the cats oxygen to revive it. M/A responded from East Madison, Cornville and Canaan.

0226)AM-MVA-Lincoln, ME-I-95 near Medway line. A car passing another car lost control, rolled over, and struck a tree. 2 female passengers in the car were killed in the collision, the driver was not seriously injured. The accident is under investigation.

0225)02:00 AM-W/F-Augusta, ME-2 Stone St. A bedroom fire in an apartment, contained to the bedroom. The Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.

0223)6:55 PM-ACW-Kittery, ME-Portsmouth Naval Shipyard. A small fire on the U.S.S. Jacksonville, a military submarine. Six persons were treated on scene for smoke inhalation, two of whom were transported to the hospital for evaluation. The fire was quickly knocked down.

0222)08:45 AM-W/F-Burlington, ME-Route 188. A 100 year-old 1.5 story house fully involved on arrival, M/A responded to the fire.

0221)07:45 AM-W/F-Chester, ME-Pea Ridge Rd. at the Chester Animal Hospital. A barn which was used as a veterinarians office and kennel was destroyed by a fire which may have started from a dryer. Four dogs and a cat were killed. M/A responded from Lincoln, Lee, Howland and Mattawamkeag.

0215)07:40 AM-MVA-Fitzwilliam, NH-Route 119. 1 person trapped in a vehicle, jaws used for extrication. M/A heavy rescue responded.

0214)05:15 AM-W/F+-Brentwood, NH-Route 125 @ Brentwood Automobile Center. A wood frame auto repair shop fully involved. M/A responded from East Kingston, Epping, Exeter, Kingston, Fremont, Raymond, Newfields, and the Stratham air truck.

0213)02:00 AM-HAZ/MAT INCIDENT-Acworth, NH-Access road to Bascom Farms. A tanker trailer truck rolled over spilling 50,000 pounds of raw milk (about 6000 gallons), which ran off into the river. Keene HAZ-MAT Trailer and NHDES were called to the scene.

A 3-story brick irregular-shaped mansion with heavy fire conditions, the structure was was built in the 18th century and was originally a monastery. Seven towns responded M/A, the State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating the fire.

0211)8:49 PM-MVA-Turner, ME-Route 4 near Richardson's Auto Repair. Jaws used to extricate a trapped victim, unknown injuries.

0210)8:20 PM-W/F-Auburn, ME-15 Holly St. A dryer fire extended to a 2-story house, M/A responded from Lewiston.

0205)12:24 AM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Alexandria, NH-Walkers Field. A snowmobile left a trail and the rider struck a tree, he was killed in the accident.

0204)AM-W/F-Randolph, ME-Lewis Ave. A 2-story house with attached garage well involved, a passerby reported the fire and rescued a dog from the house. Three cats and another dog were missing in the fire. M/A responded from Chelsea, Gardiner, Farmingdale, Togus and Pittston.

0203)05:00 AM-W/F-North Berwick, ME-Fox Farm Hill Rd. A fire in a connecter between a house and a barn, occurred when occupants tried refueling a generator and a nearby candle ignited fumes. The fire was quickly knocked down, Sanford responded M/A.

0201)6:40 PM-W/F-Newport, NH-Cornish Turnpike. A general alarm sounded for a garage fire, MA coverage responded from Goshen and Croydon.

0200)07:00 AM-MVA-Walpole, NH-Route 12. A car skidded into on-coming traffic and collided with another vehicle. A female driver died after being transported to the hospital. The accident is under investigation.

0199)06:20 AM-MVA-Sangerville, ME-Douty Rd. A pickup truck rolled over and struck a tree, trapping the driver. He was extricated with jaws and transported to Mayo Regional Hospital in Dover-Foxcroft.

0197)12:30 PM-MVA-Benton, ME-Route 100 near Applewood Kennel. An SUV crossed the center line and struck a car, then rolled over. A 14 y/o female died in the collision and three other occupants were transported with minor injuries. The accident is under investigation.

0196)12:20 PM-W/F-Arundel, ME-107 Log Cabin Rd. A 2-story structure fire, M/A responded from Kennebunk to the scene.

0195)02:50 AM-W/F-Mason, NH-266 Nutting Rd at the rear of "Pickety Place" Restaurant. A fully involved 2-story wood frame barn fire, the barn had been converted into an apartment. M/A responded from Greenville, Brookline, Townsend and Ashby,MA.

0193)3:30 PM-MVA-Manchester, NH-I-293 northbound near Exit 4. A car struck a minivan, an elderly female driver died in the collision. Police are investigating the accident.

0192)2:20 PM-W/F-Milton, NH-53 Allen Hastings Ln. An explosion and fire in a three-bay garage, an elderly couple was transported from the location with serious burns. M/A responded to the fire.

0191)7:00 PM-MVA-Hancock, ME-Route 1 just north of the Washington Junction Road. A pickup crossed the center line and struck 3 on-coming vehicles, the driver of the truck was killed in the collision. Five persons from the other cars were taken to the hospital.

0190)12:30 PM-MVA-Chelsea, ME-Route 9. Multiple patients reported, 1 was transported by Lifeflight with serious injuries. M/A rescues responded.

0189)10:35 AM-W/F-Bowdoinham, ME-212 Carding Machine Rd. A structure fully involved, M/A responded from Richmond & Bowdoin.

0188)09:30 AM-W/F+-Frankfort, ME-Route 1A. A 2.5 story wood frame house fully involved, a 24 y/o female was killed in the fire and a 46 y/o female was taken to the hospital with serious burns. M/A responded from several towns.

0187)PM-MVA-Concord, NH-I-89 near Exit 2. A car crossed the median and rolled over, then was struck head-on by a tractor trailer. The driver of the car was ejected from the car and died at the scene, the driver of the t/t was transported with minor injuries. The accident is under investigation.

0175)6:30 PM-MVA-Swanville, ME-Route 141. A 49 y/o male lost control of his car which left the road and struck a tree, jaws were used to extricate him from the car. Lifeflight transported him to EMMC in Bangor in critical condition.
