1075)10:20 PM-W/F-Eliot, ME-Route 236 @ Eliot Common. Fire in the attic of a large 1.5 story strip mall, contained to one section of the building. M/A responded.

1074)9:40 PM-3rd.AL-Weare, NH-1235 South Stark Highway. A barn fully involved, M/A responded from several towns to the scene and for coverage.

1073)6:50 PM-W/F-Woolwich, ME-427 Middle Rd. A fully involved structure fire, M/A responded to the scene.

1072)6:05 PM-2nd.AL-Bretton Woods, NH-2653 Route 302 East at the Lodge at Bretton Woods. Heavy fire showing from the roof of the motel, 25-30 rooms, (about 50% of the rooms), in the large 2-story building were destroyed. Guests renting rooms were relocated to other hotels. M/A responded to the fire from several towns.

1070)10:25 PM-MVA-Belmont, NH-Route 3. An SUV which had fled from a police cruiser crossed the center line and collided head-on with a pickup truck, the drivers of both vehicles were killed. A passenger in the pickup with serious injuries was transported. M/A rescue from Winnisquam responded to the scene. The accident is under investigation.

1069)5:30 PM-W/F-Boothbay, ME-Lobster Cove Rd. A fully involved structure fire, M/A responded to the scene.

1068)1:54 PM-MVA-Barnstead, NH-Route 28 near Oxbow Rd. A head-on collision between 2 cars, a 50 y/o male driver of one car was transported with serious injuries and died at the hospital. The driver and pasenger of the 2nd car were transported with non-life threatening injuries.

1067)8:43 PM-MVA-Newport, ME-Unknown Address. A man moving his tractor cab at an Irving truck stop parking lot accidently ran over his wife who was walking behind the truck. She was killed in the accident.

1065)04:30 AM-W/F-Concord, NH-250 South St @ Ordways Market. Fire in a 20X50 wood frame 1-story building. The fire was contained to the basement.

1064)10:40 PM-MVA-Salem, NH-East Broadway. A car crashed into a utility pole, a 16 y/o female passenger died in the collision. The driver and another passenger were transported to the hospital. The accident is under investigation.

1062)4:10 PM-2nd.AL-Hudson, NH-10 Dumont Rd. An historic 200 y/o house with heavy fire showing, the main house was destroyed and an attached residence in the rear sufferred heavy damage. Three firefighters sustained minor injuries. M/A responded to the scene and for coverage.

1061)12:20 PM-W/F-Vassalboro, ME-117 Main St. Heavy fire showing from a farmhouse and attached barn, a 51 y/o male occupant was later located and charged with setting the fire following an arguement. A female was transported with burns on her wrist. M/A responded from China, Waterville and Winslow.

1060)10:05 AM-W/F-Camden, ME-107 Chestnut St. Fire in an unoccupied 2.5 story single family dwelling. The Fire Marshals Office has been called in to investigate. M/A responded from Rockport, Lincolnville and Hope.

1059)11:30 PM-W/F-Sanford, ME-63 Lebanon St (Route 202). Heavy fire on the 1st floor of a 2.5 story irregular shaped apartment building, some extension to the 2nd & 3rd floor. M/A coverage responded.

1058)10:40 AM-W/F-Rockland, ME-11 Lime St at “FMC”. Fire in a large conveyor system inside the building. The fire was started by workers using a torch. M/A for station coverage responded from Thomaston and South Thomaston.

1049)07:30 AM-W/F+-Waterboro, ME-951 Main St (Route 202) at the old TK Machining Company building. Heavy fire in a 1.5-story commercial building used mostly for storage, the fire started on the 1st floor and extended into the attic. A double roof made for difficult access for the firefighters. M/A responded from several towns.

1047)2:05 PM-W/F-Acworth, NH-222 Acworth Hill Rd. A century old colonial farmhouse well involved on arrival, the building became fully involved and was completely destroyed. M/A responded to the scene.

1046)9:30 PM-W/F-Mexico, ME-25 Middle Ave. Heavy fire in a 2.5 story apartment building, the building was destroyed in the blaze. M/A responded to the scene, the Red Cross responded to assist occupants left homeless.

1045)8:15 PM-2nd.AL-Somersworth, NH-417 Route 108 at the Gateway Restaurant. Heavy smoke showing on arrival from the commercial building, the sprinklers knocked down most of the fire. M/A responded to the scene and for coverage.

1044)5:30 PM-W/F-Farmingdale, ME-Hallowell-Litchfield Rd. A 1.5 story single family house fire, fully involved on arrival. The house was the residence of a firefighter for the Air National Guard in Bangor. M/A responded from Randolph, Pittston and West Gardener.

1041)11:50 AM-2nd.AL-Belmont, NH-Nelson Ct. Heavy fire showing throughout a 2-story residential building, the structure was destroyed. M/A responded from Laconia, Gilford, Gilmanton, Tilton-Northfield, Winnisquam and Franklin.

1040)07:25 AM-2nd.AL-Manchester, NH-200 Hanover St. Fire on the 5th floor of a 5-story "L" shaped elderly housing building, additional EMS units responded to assist with evacuation. The fire was contained to 1 apartment with some extension to hallway. M/A responded to the fire.

1039)12:16 AM-W/F-Hallowell, ME-85 Middle St. at the Mariah Clark School Condominiums. Fire in a basement utility room which destroyed heating units, the fire was contained to the room. M/A responded from Farmingdale.

1038)8:30 PM-MVA-Detroit, ME-Route 220. A pickup truck tried to swerve around a deer in the road and lost control on glare ice on the street, the pickup rolled over several times and 1 of the 2 occupants was partially ejected and trapped under the truck. Air bags were used for extrication, a 17 y/o male and an 18 y/o male both died at the scene. The road was closed for reconstruction.

1036)2:15 PM-W/F-Rome, ME-Castle Island Rd and Watson Pond Rd. A 2-story raised ranch and garage with heavy fire conditions, the fire started in an attached shed at the rear of the house. M/A responded from ten departments to the fire.

1035)06:34 AM-W/F-Hermon, ME-Geagans Way. A chimney fire extended to a 2-story house, the 2nd floor was gutted by the blaze. M/A responded from Levant, Hampden and Glenburn. An ambulance from Carmel stood by at the scene.

1034)01:08 AM-2nd.AL-Laconia, NH-1165 Weirs Blvd in Weirs Beach at Wellesley Pines Condominiums. A 2-story house under construction, fire showing from the basement and 1st floor on arrival. The building was heavily damaged, M/A responded to the scene from Gilford, Belmont and Meredith. Other towns also responded for coverage.

1023)11:35 PM-MVA-Standish, ME-Route 114. A vehicle rolled over and struck a tree, 1 fatality on scene. Police reconstructed the scene.

1022)10:30 AM-W/F-Hamden, ME-Route 1-A at Bickford Auto Body. Heavy smoke showing on arrival from the auto body garage. The fire destroyed the building, lots of equipment, and several vehicles inside. The State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.

1021)3:15 PM-SNOWMOBILE ACCIDENT-Wolfeboro, NH-Filterbed Rd. A 57 y/o male lost control of his snowmobile, which went over an enbankment and crashed into a metal fence post. He was transported to Huggins Hospital where he died from his injuries.

1020)1:30 PM-MVA-Winterport, ME-Goshen Rd. A car lost control in slippery conditions and rolled over, the 34 y/o male operator was killed in the accident.

1019)10:43 AM-2nd.AL-New Boston, NH-99 Francistown Rd (Route 136). Fire in a 2-story mill building, M/A responded to the scene and for coverage from several towns.

1018)07:30 AM-MVA-Hooksett, NH-I-293 north just before I-93. An SUV rolled over, ejecting a male and female occupant from the vehicle. Both persons were transported with serious injuries, the woman later died at the hospital. The accident is under investigation.

1017)PM-MVA-West Gardiner, ME-Route 126 at Horshoe Pond. A car occupied by an elderly couple slid off the road and into the pond. Both occupants were pulled out of the pond by passers-by and CPR was performed on them. The woman survived and was transported in critical condition, her husband did not regain consciousness and was pronounced dead.

1015)08:54 AM-W/F-Portland, ME-144 Washburn Ave. Fire in the walls of a 2.5 story 30X40 building.

1014)12:40 AM-2nd.AL-Concord, NH-284 North State St. Heavy fire on 2nd floor of a 3-story wood frame duplex extended to the 3rd floor and through the roof. An 84 y/o male was transported to the hospital, where he later died. M/A responded from several towns.

1012)09:00 AM-MVA-Hooksett, NH-Route 3A near the Bow line. A car lost control, left the road and crashed into a ditch. The 35 y/o male driver was transported to Concord Hospital and he was declared dead a short time later. The accident is under investigation.

1005)01:30 AM-W/F-Plainfield (Meridan), NH-84 Chellis Rd. A 100 year old house fully involved. Four residents, two adults and two teenagers, were killed in the fire. Arriving units found the home was mostly destroyed. M/A responded to the scene, the Fire Marshal's Office has been called in to investigate.

1003)8:00 PM-W/F-Belmont, ME-Back Belmont Rd. A house well involved, it was spotted by firefighters who were out on driver training. The house was destroyed, M/A responded from 4 towns.

1002)12:45 PM-3rd.AL-Manchester, NH-223 Massabessic St. A large 2.5 story apartment house well involved, the fire extended to an attached barn. M/A responded.

1001)12:30 PM-MVA-Sunapee, NH-Route 103 @ Bradford Rd. 2 vehicles head-on, 2 DHART helicopters and two Newport Ambulances responded to the scene. Lengthy extrications were performed, at least 1 fatality and 2 persons with serious injuries.

1000)08:30 AM-MVA-Hooksett, NH-Route 3. A car lost control on ice and crashed head-on into a landscaping truck, the truck ended up on top of the car just off the road. Jaws were used to extricate the female driver from the car and she was transported to the hospital, where she was pronounced dead. The driver of the truck was not injured.

0999)08:00 AM-MVA-Gorham, ME-Route 25 between Route 112 & Spiller Rd. A car crossed the road and went into a ditch, then struck a culvert and went airborne. The 70 y/o male driver was transported to the hospital, but died enroute. The accident is under investigation.

0997)PM-W/F-Lyme, NH-Unknown Address. A 1.5 story wood frame house well involved, started from a wood stove pipe. M/A responded to the fire.

0996)09:45 AM-MVA-Waterboro, ME-Main St (Route 202) by Abbotts Store. An SUV crossed the road and struck 2 other vehicles head-on, then rolled over. Jaws were used for extrication. Two occupants in the SUV were killed in the accident, 2 persons in another car were transported with serious injuries. M/A responded from Hollis, Buxton and Alfred.

0995)4:25 PM-MVA-York, ME-Chases Pond Rd and Scituate Rd. 2 cars invovled at the intersection, jaws were used to extricate a seriously injured subject. Lifeflight transported a 75 y/o male subject to MMC in Portland where he later died. The male driver of the 2nd car was not injured, but a female passenger was transported with minor injuries.

0994)2:40 PM-2nd.AL-Rockland, ME-75 Grace St. A kitchen fire in a 2.5 story wood frame. Fire was confined to the kitchen. M/A responded from Thomaston to the scene and Rockport for station coverage.

0993)7:35 PM-W/F-Hudson, ME-Hudson Rd. Fire under a mobile home extended to the floor of the structure, M/A responded from Bradford and Glenburn.

0992)11:00 PM-W/F-Belgrade, ME-Depot Rd. A 3-unit 2-story apartment building with heavy fire on arrival. A 2 y/o boy was killed and his father was severely burned while trying to save him, a police officer also sufferred from smoke inhalation while trying to save the boy. Two persons were rescued by firefighters from the 2nd floor. The father was in critical condition, the fire is being investigated by the Fire Marshal's Office. M/A responded from several towns.

0991)12:45 PM-W/F-New Durham, NH-South Shore Rd. A 2-story wood frame house fully involved on arrival, 2 vehicles and a boat in the driveway were also destroyed. M/A responded from several towns.

0990)12:30 AM-2nd.AL-Portland, ME-133 Franklin St. A fire in a 4th floor apartment in an occupied multiple dwelling, 4 families were displaced by the fire.

0989)08:00 AM-MVA-New London, NH-Old Main St. A New London Highway Department worker was filling in pot holes when he was struck and killed by a passing van, which pushed him into his truck. The accident is under investigation by the NH State Police.
