0549)3:00 PM-MVA-Meredith, NH-Route 25 by Citizen's Bank. A backing dump truck at a construction site accidently ran over a foreman at the site, killing him. The accident is being investigated.

0548)06:30 AM-MVA-Turner, ME-Route 4 near Route 117. 2 pickup trucks collided head-on, 1 10-45 code 1 on scene, 1 10-45 transported. SP responded for reconstruction.

0547)03:30 AM-MVA-HAZMAT-Athens, ME-Route 150 A tanker truck carrying 5,000 gallons of sodium hydrosulphite, a bleaching chemical, rolled over and caused a leak of the chemical. Firefighters, a hazmat team, and DEP responded to contain the leak.

0546)2:00 PM-MVA-Wakefield, NH-Route 16 near Elm St. Car went out of control, crossed the highway and struck a pole, then rolled over, partially ejecting the operator who was the only occupant and trapping him underneath. Extrication tools were used by responders, 1 10-45 code 1 on scene.

0545)10:00 AM-W/F-Saco, ME-18 Park St. @ the "Lunder Shoe" building. A 5-story wood frame old mill building with exterior fire at the rear of the structure, quickly knocked down. Biddeford responded M/A.

0544)AM-MVA-Auburn, ME-Route 11. A motorcycle left the road and went into trees, 1 fatality. Androscoggin County SO is investigating.

0543)11:30 AM-MVA-Jaffrey, NH-135 Fitzwilliam Rd. Female trapped under a vehicle, air bags were used for extrication, 1 10-45 code 2 transported.

0542)09:30 AM-TREE RESCUE-Hudson, NH-10 Stanley Ave. A male subject working for a tree company was struck by a branch and disabled about 40' in the tree, FD using a ladder and rescue harness got him down after about 2 hours.

0541)07:30 AM-MVA-Poland, ME-Route 11. A motorcycle traveling at a high rate of speed lost control and struck a tree, the operator was a fatality. Androscoggin County SO investigated the accident.

0540)5:45 PM-W/F+-Old Town, ME-Bennoch Rd @ the Stillwater Lumber Yard. Heavy fire in the planing mill building, with some extension to the kiln building. Hudson, Alton, Bradley, Milford, Glenburn and Orono responded to assist.

0539)4:50 PM-MVA-Rochester, NH-Milton Rd. 2 vehicles involved with entrapment, jaws used for extrication. 3 10-45's transported to the hospital.

0538)4:30 PM-W/F-Harrington, ME-Marshville Rd. A mobile home fully involved, some pets were killed in the fire. M/A responded from Addison, Columbia and Columbia Falls.

0537)12:15 AM-W/F-Warren, ME-1097 Western Rd. An electrical problem caused a bathroom fire in a house, smoke and water damage throughout the residence.

0535)11:15 PM-2nd.AL-Nashua, NH-43 Gordon St. Fire in a 1.5 story cape-style house, heavy fire on the 2nd floor. A passing neighbor rescued an elderly female from the burning house, M/A responded.

0534)6:30 PM-LIGHTNING STRIKE-North Belgrade, ME-Stony Point Rd. A tree next to a residential home was struck by lightning which entered the home and damaged the home enough to make it uninhabitable for possibly several months due to possible foundation damage and wiring which will need to be replaced. The family was away at the time at a little league game, The FD and CMP responded, there was no fire, just major damage.

0527)05:00 AM-2nd.AL-Rollinsford, NH-109 Rollins Rd. Fire re-ignited in the garage and extended to the 2-story house, causing heavy damage to the house. M/A responded from Rochester, Dover, Somersworth, and Berwick, South Berwick ME, North Berwick ME, and Eliot,ME.

0526)12:51 AM-2nd.AL-Rollinsford, NH-109 Rollins Rd. A 3-car garage with heavy fire, smoke and water damage to the attached 2-story house. M/A responded from Somersworth, Dover, Berwick,ME and South Berwick,ME.

0524)8:15 PM-MVA-Parsonsfield, ME-Elm St. Motorcycle struck a moose, 1 10-45 code 2 with CPR in progress, Standish ALS responded to assist. The male operator was pronounced dead at MMC in Portland.

0523)8:04 PM-W/F-Sebago, ME-426 Bridgton Rd (Route 107). A structure fire, M/A from Standish responded.

0522)3:50 PM-W/F-Jefferson, ME-488 Augusta Rd. A structure fire, M/A responded.

0521)PM-WATER RESCUE-Vassalboro, ME-Threemile Pond off Route 202. 2 males in the water from capsized kayak were rescued by Vassalboro and China firefighters. A South China volunteer FF responded with a canoe and held a subject above the water until the arrival of China's rescue boat. Both subjects were pulled into the boat and transported, ME Warden Service and the Kennebec County Sheriff's Office's dive team also responded.

0519)12:15 AM-W/F-Presque Isle, ME-73 Chapman St. A 2-story wood frame house, fire showing from windows on arrivel. The house was gutted, M/A responded from Caribou.

0517)3:30 PM-W/F-Monson, ME-Moosehorn Rd. A farmhouse fully engulfed on arrival, M/A responded from Guilford, Sangerville and Dover-Foxcroft.

0516)07:45 AM-MVA-Durham, ME-Route 9 & Route 136. Car struck a house after the operator suffered a seizure, he was 10-45 code 2 and airlifted by Lifeflight to CMMC in Lewiston.

0515)04:00 AM-W/F-Hampden, ME-681 Main Road North, Lot 37. A trailer fire, fully involved on arrival. Believed to have started from a nearby car fire earlier that night, possibly smoldered for several hours. The trailer was destroyed.

0513)4:26 PM-MVA-Concord, NH-Route 93 northbound between exits 16 & 17. A vehicle rolled over with entrapment, extricated 1 10-45, reported conscious.

0512)4:00 PM-MVA-Dover, NH-Spaulding Turnpike between exits 8 & 9. The Dover Fire & Rescue squad responding on another accident call was struck while turning around on the highway by an SUV, trapping a female driver in the SUV. The firefighter driving the squad began using extrication tools to free the woman prior to the arrival of additional units. She was transported to Wentworth-Douglass Hospital with minor injuries.

0511)NEAR NOON-W/F-New Boston, NH-Cochran Hill RD. Cottage fire at Friendly Beaver Campground. M/A to the scene and cover.

0510)10:15 AM-W/F-Goffstown, NH-Wood Ln. Electrical fire in the ceiling of a building, smoke showing.

0502)10:00 PM-MVA-Gilford, NH-Lake St near Shaw's entrance. Chevy Blazer struck a motorcycle head-on. Male operator of the motorcycle was 10-45 code 2 and airlifted to MMC in Portland,ME.

0501)7:03 PM-MVA-Effingham, NH-Route 25 & Route 153 North. Tractor Trailer vs car which rolled over with entrapment, 1 10-45 code 1 in the car, the truck driver was not injured.

0500)3:30 PM-BRUSH FIRE-Plymouth, NH-Chaison Rd. A fallen branch took down a power line and started the fire which burned about 21 acres and threatened a house. Several towns responded M/A.

0499)2:50 PM-BRUSH FIRE-Newport, NH-Unknown Address. 5 acre brush fire with several structures threatened. M/A from Goshen, Croydon, & Lempster with forestry units and manpower, Coverage from Claremont.

0498)1:10 PM-W/F-Greenfield, NH-108 Wallystone RD. Shed fire which extended to the brush, extensive M/A responded.

0497)06:35 AM-W/F-Freedom, NH-Intervale Ave in Mountainview Development. A 25X25 structure well involved extended to a boat, M/A responded from W Ossipee, Madison, Effingham, & Tamsworth, Center Ossipee for coverage.

0495)4:00 PM-PLANE CRASH-Old Town, ME-Old Town Municipal Airport. A small plane crashed when its engine quit, the pilot was the only one on board and walked away unharmed.

0494)3:05 PM-W/F-Newcastle, ME-Station Rd. A structure fire, fully involved. M/A responded to the scene.

0493)3:00 PM-MVA-Middleton, NH-Kings Highway. Car off the road into a tree, 3 elderly female occupants were transported to the hospital, where 2 of them died from thier injuries, the 3rd is listed in fair condition. Middleton Fire and Rescue, Milton ambulance, Farmington ambulance, and Frisbie EMS all responded.

0492)04:00 AM-W/F-Concord, NH-New Hampshire Hospital grounds. A fire in the old main building was contained to the shop area, activated sprinklers kept the fire in check until firefighters could knock it down. Fire Marshals are investigating.

0486)7:02 PM-MVA-Farmington, NH-Leary Ln. A Ford F350 truck slipped out of gear and rolled down the driveway, fatally injuring a 22-month old boy playing in the path of the truck. A second 4 year old boy also recieved minor injuries, both were transported to Frisbie Memorial were the 22 mos old was pronounced dead. Apparent cause is purely accidental.

0485)4:30 PM-MVA-Stueben, ME-Route 1. Car collided with a tractor-trailer, 1 10-45 code 2+ female was transported to EMMC in Bangor, where she later died from her injuries.

0477)1:25 PM-3rd.AL-Concord, NH-23 Warren St. Fire in an apartment building over French's Toy Shop, a 230 year-old large 2-story building. M/A responded from a dozen communities.

0476)08:35 AM-2nd.AL-Gorham, ME-County Rd (Route 22). Heavy fire showing at "Roberts' Welding and Power Sports", a 1-story commercial building well involved, attached to a 2-story building housing an ATV/motorcycle shop. The 2-story section had some extension. Several towns responded M/A.

0475)03:00 AM-MVA-China, ME-Route 202. A pickup truck with 3 occupants ran through a stop sign, went off the road and struck an old school bus, pushing it into a house. All 3 were transported to MGH in Augusta, 1 was then airlifted to CMMC in Lewiston with serious injuries.

0473)PM-W/F-Manchester, NH-Maple St @ Stadium 10 Pin Bowling Alley. Fire started in a refridgeration motor and extended, approxamately $40,000 - $50,000 damage was caused.

0472)2:55 PM-W/F-Dalton, NH-Union Rd. A barn fire, M/A responded.

0471)PM-W/F-Raymond, ME-93 Gore Rd. A split level home, fire contained to 1 room. Possible electric cord was cause, fire/water damage. M/A from Windham responded.

0470)2:30 PM-3rd.AL-Warner, NH-40 Schoodac Rd. A garage and extensive brush fire, several towns responded M/A.

0469)02:30 AM-2nd.AL-Barrington, NH-93 Second Crown Point Road. A log house fully involved on arrival extended to nearby vehicles, a camper, and a shed. Oxygen tanks inside the house exploded while firefighters were enroute. The fire started from an ignited gas leak in the basement, came from a motorcycle which an occupant had been working on. M/A responded from Rochester and Strafford to the scene, Madbury for coverage.

0468)01:00 AM-MVA-Pownal, ME-Elmwood Rd. Vehicle went off the road and rolled over, ejecting the male occupant. Lifeflight transported to CMMC were the man died from his injuries. Cumberland County SO is investigating.

0467)3:00 PM-2nd.AL BRUSH FIRE-Salisbury, NH-Center Rd near the power lines. Unknown area of brush, several towns and NH Forestry responded to the fire.

0466)03:00 AM-W/F-Farmington, ME-Farmington Fairgrounds. A horse stable fire, 14 horses all got out of the barn and were rounded up by firefighters and civilians as far as 3 miles away. About $15,000 worth of equipment was lost along with the barn.

0465)3:45 PM-3rd.AL-Henniker, NH-4 Bradford Rd @ intersection Route 114 and Route 202 at Central NH Concrete. Fire in the main building, a 100X100 heavy commercial, fire showing from the attic. M/A responded from Weare, Bradford, Hillsboro, Hopkinton, Dunbarton and Warner.

0464)1:50 PM-W/F-Pittsfield, NH-239 Louden Rd. Exterior fire on a house extended into partition, quickly knocked down. Barnstead responded M/A.

0463)02:00 AM-4th.AL-Madbury, NH-Perkins Rd @ the Walker Tree Farm. Heavy fire fanned by strong winds destroyed a 150 year-old 3-story 30X50 barn and extended to an old farmhouse nearby, destroying the rear of the structure. Over 50 firefighters from numerous departments responded M/A.

0462)4:00 PM-W/F+-Tuftonboro, NH-Whortleberry Island. A 20X40 house fully involved spread to an out building and 4 acres of land on the island. M/A responded from Ossipee Corner, Center Ossipee, West Ossipee, Moultonboro, and Wolfeboro. Lakeside Ambulance, New Hampshire Electric Cooperative, the state Forestry Service and the Tuftonboro Ladies Fire Auxiliary also responded.

0461)3:00 PM-W/F-Hodgdon, ME-Lincoln Rd @ the Crane Farm. A barn full of tools and equipment, well involved. An attached building and nearby house and barn were not damaged. M/A responded from Houlton and Linneus.

0460)11:00 AM-W/F-Township #21 (just west of Princton), ME-West St. A garage with 3 vehicles inside fully involved, M/A responded from Princeton and Baileyville.

0459)AM-MVA-Wilton, ME-Route 133 between Hardy Farm Rd and McCrillis Corner Rd. Car left road, became airborne for 60 feet, and rolled over end to end, trapping a female operator in the vehicle for over 3 hours before being located. Jaws were used for extrication and LifeStar Ambulance transported her with serious injuries.

0458)PM-W/F-Dover-Foxcroft, ME-Piscataquis Valley Fairgrounds. Several suspicious fires were set in buildings and campers at the fairgrounds, 2 juveniles are suspected in the fires. Most fires burned out prior to arrival of firefighters but a 40X80 barn was well involved and destroyed $100,000 worth of stored equipment. M/A responded from Sangerville and Guilford.

0457)6:10 PM-W/F-Warren, ME-222 Clary Hill Rd. A 25X75 barn, housing 10 vehicles, with an addition and small shed were well involved, the fire extended to a larger barn across the street, but was quickly extinguished. M/A responded from Waldoboro and Union.

0456)2:12 PM-MVA-Washington, ME-Vannah Rd. Single vehicle struck a pole then rolled over, 2 victims with 1 trapped w/serious injuries. M/A ambulance from Waldoboro. Jefferson fire responded with the jaws, Lifeflight transported 1 patient to CMMC.

0455)01:21 AM-W/F-Brewer, ME-Beacon St @ the E. Charles Dartnell Apartments. 1 unit involved in an apartment building, Holden responded M/A.

0454)8:40 PM-MOUNTAIN RESCUE-Camden, ME-Camden Hills State Park. A female jumped off Maiden Cliff in an apparent suicide attempt and suffered serious injuries. A rescue operation which lasted most of the night included local police, firefighters, State Wardens, & Knox Cnty Sherriff's Dept. She was flown by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor.

0453)8:00 PM-W/F-Hudson, ME-Potter Rd. A small hunting cabin, fully involved. State Fire Marshal's Office is investigating.

0452)8:00 PM-W/F-Charlestown, NH-21 Connecticut River Park. A trailer fire, M/A responded.

0451)5:25 PM-MVA-Charlestown, NH-Route 12 near the Ponderosa Trailer Park. 2 vehicles head-on with a rollover, 1 10-45 code 2 transported by DHART with head and back injuries.

0450)5:00 PM-W/F-Laconia, NH-Crescent St. Kitchen fire in a 4-story building, M/A responded from Gilford.

0449)2:00 PM-ATV ACCIDENT-Warren, ME-Mountain Rd. ATV rolled over while crossing the road, 1 10-45 code 2 was flown by Lifeflight to EMMC in Bangor in serious condition. Warren Rescue and Thomaston Ambulance responded to the scene.

0448)Unknown Time-MVA-Casco, ME-Route 121. Jaws used for extrication, 1 10-45 code 2+ patient entrapped. 2nd 10-45 code 2 also transported, M/A responded from Naples.

0447)07:15 AM-MVA-Turner, ME-Route 4. Vehicle skidded on ice into another vehicle headed in the opposite lane, 1 10-45 code 1 in the vehicle which lost control. The other driver was not injured, State Police investigated the accident.

0444)10:00 PM-MVA-Washburn, ME-Route 164. Vehicle went off the road during a police pursuit and crashed into a tree, 1 10-45 code 1 on scene, 1 10-45 code 2 (driver) was transported to EMMC in Bango in critical condition.

0443)8:30 PM-MVA-Dedham, ME-Route 1A & Lily Rd. Car struck a pickup head-on, 1 10-45 code 1 on scene, 2 10-45's code 2 transported. Hancock County Sheriff's Department is investigating the accident.

0442)6:00 PM-W/F-Fort Fairfield, ME-East Limestone Rd. A 2-story farmhouse well involved extended to a barn about 20 feet away, which suffered minor damage. 1 firefighter was transported to the hospital with minor burns on his hands, he was treated and released. M/A responded from Limestone and Loring fire departments.

0441)06:05 AM-MVA-Goshen, NH-Route 10. Car struck and broke pole with wires down. 1 10-45 Code 2 with injuries to head, legs, chest, and hands. Newport Ambulance transported.

0440)08:00 AM-W/F-St. Albans, ME-97 Grant Rd. A 2-story house fully involved, started in the basement. M/A responded from Corinna, Hartland, and Pittsfield.

0438)3:00 PM-COLLAPSE-Manchester, NH-Hub Candlepin Bowling on Concord St. Large brick commercial building, front wall collapsed due to water built up on the roof. No injuries, one woman just escaped from the falling wall.
