Southern Maine Fire Notification Association, (S.M.F.N.A.) is a Maine chartered non-profit organization, founded for the purpose of notifying it's members of fire related incidents throughout New England. The Association presently has an unlimited membership, open to all who apply. [subject to approval by the Membership Board] As a member, you will be entitled to unlimited use of our existing radio repeaters, located on Mt.Agamenticus in York Maine, Ossipee Hill in Waterboro Me, and Teneriffe Mountain, in Milton NH. All radio transmissions are subject to applicable F.C.C. rules and regulations. A membership fee of $55.00 for the first year, $45.00 for the second, $35.00 for each subsequent year is required. Members shall follow the guidelines in the Association's by laws. Membership can be terminated at any time by the Executive Board, without prior notice.
